I wake up super excited because today is my Bat Mitzvah, I check my phone seeing texts from my friends

I go downstairs to eat some breakfast being greeted by Cyrus "Happy Bat Mitzvah day sis" he says "Thanks" I say smiling as I eat some cereal "So you and Jonah?" he asks "He asked me to save him a dance" I say "Just be careful because Jonah isn't one for labels" he says so I nod then we head to the venue to set everything up

We just got back from the venue so I put on my dress then do my hair and makeup going down stairs to take some pictures then we all go back to the ceremony venue

Everyone shows up so the ceremony starts and I make my speech "Today is the day I become a woman but before we look into the present and the future we need to look into the past, this week I met some really great people like Andi Mack and Buffy Driscoll, I can talk to them about pretty much anything especially about boys which is really nice, then there's Tj Kippen who is really caring though he puts out a rough exterior, lastly there Jonah Beck, I don't even know where to begin with Jonah Beck he is truly my best friend he knows me better than anyone well besides Cyrus and I'm just so thankful for all of them" I say wiping my tears the they all run up giving me a hug "I love you guys" I say "We love you too" Jonah says "Now let's party" I say as we go to the dance floor

We've all been dancing for about thirty minutes when a slow song comes on so we all partner up, Buffy with Marty, Andi with Walker(photo booth guy), Cyrus with Tj, then Jonah walks up to me "I believe you owe me a dance" he says "I believe I do" I say wrapping my arms around his neck as he wraps his arms around my waist then we rest our foreheads against each other while we sway along to the music "You look really pretty" he says "Thanks" I say blushing "Your speech was so beautiful" he says "Thanks" I say then the song ends "How about you and I go to the fountain and have a talk" I say "That sounds good to me" he says so I grab his hand walking with him to where we were last night when I found him having a panic attack

We sit at the fountain and I hold his hand intertwining our fingers "Iris-" he says "I like you Jonah I know you like Andi and she likes you but I just I had to tell you" I say "Andi and I don't like each other anymore she has Walker" he says so I nod "I thought you liked Tj" he says "Tj is gay Jonah" I say "He is?" Jonah asks "Yep him and Cyrus like each other" I say "Aw that's cute" he says then I let go of his hand assuming he's not interested in me "Can you hold my hand again? It comforts me you know it helps me calm down" he says so I grab his hand again but this time he intertwines our fingers and kisses my hand "Cyrus used to tell me about all of his amazing friend and I thought they were to good to be true but now that their my friends I know that's not true" I say "So I'm not too good to be true?" he asks "I don't really know yet" I say "What do you mean?" he asks "You confuse the hell out of me Jonah" I say "How?" he says "When we were dress shopping you tried to kiss me but then the next day you kiss Andi and ask me to forget about it" I say "I thought you weren't interested in me" he says "I was interested in you but I wanted to respect Andi's feelings" I say "Was? Does that mean you aren't anymore?" he asks "Jonah you're really stupid" I say "Hey not nice" he says "Jonah I am interested in you but I'm scared of getting hurt I care about you a lot but I don't want to ruin our friendship plus I don't want to have all these feelings for you if they aren't gonna go anywhere since you don't like labels" I say "I want labels with you" he says "You do?" I ask "I want you to be my girlfriend and I want to be your boyfriend" he says "I want the same" I say "So is that a yes?" he asks "Yes" I say "Maybe we should get back to your party" he says "I kind of just want to stay here with you" I say "Are you sure?" he asks "Yes I'm sure" I say "I'm so glad I have you" he says "How have you been handling things?" I ask "Things have been a little rough just the thought of dealing with panic attacks every day makes me start to freak out" he says his breathing getting a little heavy "Hey hey hey calm down" I say putting my hand on his cheek rubbing it with my thumb "Everything's gonna be okay" I say "As long as I have you I'll always be okay" he says "I'm happy to help" I say then Cyrus comes down

"Hey sis we're heading out" Cyrus says so I kiss Jonah's cheek going home with Cyrus

"You want to tell me what's going on with Jonah?" he says "He asked me out tonight" I say "Aw yay!" he says "What about you and Tj?" I ask "He kissed me tonight but we aren't official" he says "I hope things work out" I say then we turn off our lights and go to sleep
