Alexis woke up once her alarm had gone off at 7:30 am. She slammed her hand down on the alarm button before rolling over and throwing covers over her head to try to get more sleep before she heads to work.

Alexis POV

Mmmmm~

Mmmmm~

"Coco, stop whining!" I said stuffing myself more into the pillow.

Mmmmm~ RUFF~

"Okay okay! I'm up! Let's go outside and go potty!" I smiled and sat up to see my golden retriever standing by my bed and then going in circles when I said I was going to take her outside.

We headed downstairs and I let Coco out while I decided to make myself some coffee and chop up some fruits for my morning 'breakfast'.

Coco whined to get back inside. I let her in and quickly knelt on the floor when Coco's legs gave out for the umpteenth time.

"You better take it easy girl. You're not a spring chicken anymore" I muttered softly while petting her hair.

Author's POV

Alexis knew that Coco was reaching the point where death could come any day. Coco was already 11 years old, which was extremely old for a dog's life span. It was only a matter of time, but it was the time Alexis wished, would never come true. She couldn't dare to stay apart from her lovely fur-baby.

Alexis POV

I finished my breakfast and headed upstairs to quickly freshen up and change into my uniform.

Heading back downstairs, I give Coco a few more rubs and a kiss on the head before setting the security alarm in the house.

She arrived to work within 15 minutes and greets everyone when she gets inside.

Alexis POV

"Good morning everyone!" I announced cheerfully, placing the things on my desk. "Good morning Alexis!" Lucas smiled. "Hey Alex~" Jake greets. "Did you eat breakfast yet?" One of the members asked.

"Yes madam" I said mocking a salute before smiled and taking my seat in the center of the room logging in into my computer.

I opened my email and began to answer them. When a file opened and a bunch of pictures began to pop up of a guy. "God of destruction? What is this?" I muttered while scanning through the file.

A few people turned around and gasped at the name.

"He is a monster! You haven't heard about him, Alex?" Jake scoffed as he rolled his chair towards my side. "I haven't. I'm assuming he has a huge warrant against him considering he is on the 'wanted' poster" I muttered reading over some of the comments in the articles.

"Ha! That is an understatement!" The head boss came into the room. We stood up and greeted our general officer. "This kid is not just an ordinary monster. The head members of the Corps have been seeking out this guy to find the boss in charge of the murders that have been going on for a long time." Mr. llyod said as he poured himself a cup of coffee and sat in the empty seat by me and the others.

"If we can a capture him, we can get a lot of answers form him about where their location is and who the next victim is. This guy has a lot of information that the police force need."

I thought for a second and asked "are the victims important people or just random civilian."

"Very influencial and rich people. They are responsible for the murder of president's bodyguards, the murder of CEO Jones Renold from the Renold enterprises, and many other very big and rich people. The list goes on."

"How come this the first time I'm hearing about this?" I asked.

"Because you live in a rainbow filled bubble." Jake muttered under his breath.

I lightly hit Jake's thigh.

The phone rang and one of the squad members behind us answered the call while we were talking. He quickly hung up the phone and turned towards the General.

"I just got a word from the Corps Headquarters. They have pinpointed where the criminals are and who the next target is, sir." He said quiet seriously.
