Chapter 18: Cute places and Awesome duo

"To be honest, hindi ko alam kung anong pumasok sa isip mo para mag-eat and run. Pero kung ano man yon it was the best!! God, Yana! We actually didn't pay for that lunch!" Natatawang sabi ko Yana.

"Hahaha! OMG. Hanggang ngayon sobrang bilis padin ng tibok ng puso ko. Feeling ko mamatay na ko sa sobrang kaba at tawa kanina!" Nakatawang reply din ni Yana.

(2 hours and some minutes before)

"What? I'm perfectly fine with what I'm wearing thankyou very much!" I told Yana as I cross my hands infornt of my chest.

"No! That won't do. Just shop Mika, I promise you that we're going to some place awesome and I want you to dress up or just wear something more fun than just skinny jeans and t-shirt." Yana replied while looking at me from head to toe, checking my outfit. 

"Well, atleast you're wearing the same Doctor Martens as me anyway. Thumbs up for that!" She added. 

"Ugh! Fine! But I'm not wearing any dress!" I replied giving up. Kanina pa niya ko pinipilit dito sa pagpapalit ng outfit ko na to. Do I really look that bad?

Yana drove us to town. Minsan lang siya magdrive, kasi according to her, she only drives on drastic measures. And apart from emergencies yung situation ko daw ngayon pasok sa "drastic measure" level niya. I know ang weird niya.

So yea, we went shopping for cool and comfortable clothes. We were both wearing denim high-waisted shorts. Yana's wearing a simple grey crop top and a black Doctor Martens boots. While I'm wearing a black halter top and red plaid shirt and maroon Doctor Martens boots. Yana insisted to wear something we like and so we ended up with these. 

"So..." biglang nagsalita si Yana habang naglalakad kami palabas ng shop.

"What?" Maikling reply ko naman habang humahanap ng pwedeng bilan ng inumin. Shopping with Yana is totally exhausting! Itong babaeng to kasi paiba-iba ng isip kaya di mapakali sa unang napiling damit.

"I know I told you na 'No boy talks' ngayon, pero can I just ask one question?" She pleaded habang nagpa-puppy eyes. Pinanliitan ko naman siya ng mata. Sabi na hindi mapapakali na hindi magtanong tong babaeng to e. 

"Please?" dagdag niya. "Fine! One question! No follow-ups!" Reply ko naman.

"Um, how about isang tanong ngayon tas isang tanong paguwi natin? Pretty please?" Sagot ni Yana.

"I hate you!" Reply ko sakanya. Ayus lang naman talaga na magtanong siya e, ayoko lang ipasok yung topic about kina Nate and Keith ngayong girl date namin.

"Not for long! So anyway, What do you feel about Keith as of now?" Tanong niya. Hmm, one thing is for sure, hearing his name makes me mad. 

"Pissed." Maikling reply ko. "Wow, I'm surprised you dont hate him. I mean I know his hotness is one thing but really Mika? " reply niya.

"Whatever. Anyway, sobrang gutom na ko, kinakain na ng large intestine ko yung small intestine ko. Saan ba tayo kakain?" Yana is my bestest friend and I'm so lucky to have her specially in times like this.

"Well, I have that one planned out for you! Trust me, second part of this awesome date coming right up!" Yana said. Oh well, kahit saan okay lang sa taong gutom! Lol.

I followed Yana papunta sa sinasabi niyang place, and I was so blown away with how cute the shop was. Dinala niya ko sa Stacey's,  it's a perfect place for brunch. The place was refreshing, cute, lovely and just amazing.
