The ledge is barely sunny anymore but the cat is still laying there contentedly.

A rustling sound down in the alley gets the cats attention - it doesn't move but for its ears that flick up and around.
The bystander can observe it transforming from its state of an idle loafer to a true predator.

Its movements are subtle, efficient, precise - the rodent never had a chance.
Carefully avoiding the green wobbly bit the cat devours its hunting success whereupon it continues its way up the alley.
