Connor's eyes focused on the apartment unit above the cafe. His stare softened as he saw a shadow move amongst the second level. A smile formed on his lips, but it was soon erased when a second shadow came by and pulled the first into a hug. Sadness filled his heart as he watched the figures dance in an embrace. He turned around and walked down the street. Through his LED he called a taxi to take him back to CyberLife. Downed by the thought of Erika being with someone made him...confused. He computed and skimmed through a list of individuals she was accomplices she made over the years. Although, all of these people were either not in the area or no longer kept in contact with Erika for a while. He pondered on who the person may be, then in an instant, he stiffened as a shock passed through his body.

Erika screamed though the balled up fabric in her mouth. Her arms were bound with plastic ties. The sharp edges started to cut into her left wrist, causing her hand to become numb. She started a struggle but stopped when the hooded figure slit an android's throat--a decoy. It walked over to her with a knife stained with blue blood. She needed to buy some time until someone came.
