Epilogue

Five Years Later
Today was the day I allowed to have fifteen children under the age of six run around the house. My baby boy Knox was turning five and was already being a handful. It didnt help that Jacob and Will were struggling trying to put together the mini race track and hockey rink up out back for the party or that Rae forgot to tell me she had three homework assignments due the Monday after spring break. Needless to say I was stressed and needed my mom and Debras help.

"Shit." I said dropping a wine glass on the floor trying to move around the dog Jacob insisted on getting four and a half years ago
"Mom." An eight year old Rae said pointing to the swear jar we had to start up last year because of her learning how to cuss properly from Jacob, JJ, Will and I.
"Rae." I said mocking her as I took a quarter out of the junk drawer
"Whens MiMi and Nana going to get here?" She asked looking at me with her crystal blue eyes
"Umm MiMi should be here in about thirty minutes and NaNa about two hours." I said cleaning up the glass
"Grandaddy is already here though." She said with a small amount attitude
"Ya because we needed his help with stuff." I answered looking at her and pointing back to her homework
"Uhg this shit is stupid." She said making me give her a seriously look and pointing at the swear jar
"Opps no money." She said shrugging and running away outside
"Raelynn Marie!" I yelled once she did
"Sounds like trouble." JJ said scaring me
"I thought you would be here in thirty minutes mom." I said looking at my phone
"Ya that was thirty minutes ago." She laughed and pulling out a bottle of wine from her purse and told Henry to go help Jacob and Will as Micheal followed and went to help too
"I need that now." I said eyeing it
"I figured." She laughed as I pulled out two glasses
"Vroom vroom." I heard being repeatedly yelled as it carried from the living room and pass the kitchen to the backyard
"Lord help me get through this." I said taking a big gulp of wine
"Its just a birthday party." JJ laughed while patting me on the back
"For a five year old who is out of control." I said rolling my eyes
"Knox just has a lot of energy. Rae did too at that age." She laughed reminding me of Raes never ending blonde tornado we all liked to call it
"Ouch. Im ok." I heard come from Knox after a crash in the backyard
"Uhg what now." I groaned as we walked outside to see Knox on his side in a mini police car
"Knox dude really." I said passing my glass to JJ and pulling him out and putting the car back to normal
"Sorry mommy." He said kissing my check and wiggling to be put down
"Be careful." I said once I put him down and he got back in the car taking off
"Boys will be boys." JJ laughed giving me back my glass
"Wheres the birthday boy?" Debra asked making me and JJ jump
"Right here." He yelled still driving around
"Well I guess he doesnt care I am here." She laughed eyeing our glasses
"Already?" She questioned and we both nodded
"Mike is bringing in the luggage." She said as we went and poured her a glass
"Hows the set up going?" She asked as I turned around and pointed at the struggling Will and Jacob and now Mike as they still tried to figure out the barriers for the race track with Henry watching them and Micheal abandoning them and chasing Rae
"Oh that bad." She smiled with a laugh
"Well lets ignore those issues. Hows the gym?" She asked as we caught up

The gym has been doing amazing ever since we opened it up in the run down building. We now have another two locations. One in the DC area and another in LA. Making that five in total that we own. Jacob has been offered to make it a franchise and he keeps turning it down, thankfully. I started a local coffee shop in Quantico that seems to be doing well. Im in the works of opening another in Arlington now that our lives have finally calmed down.

"So everything has been well I see." She smiled a genuine smile that I get all the time now
"Yes. Now if my kids could stop acting like mini criminals it will be better." I laughed as Jacob wrapped his arms around my waist
"I love our criminal children." He laughed kissing my cheek
"Well go get your other one. His nap is over and he is standing in his crib planning the next great escape." I laughed looking at the ipad that monitored our third and final child
"I will get him." Debra said excitedly
"Oh no Jacob has it right babe." I said looking at him as he nodded yes and going up there
"Why couldnt I get Wyatt?" She asked disappointed
"Because he never fully took a nap." I said waiting for the screaming to be heard from his room as it came right on cue
