Merlin walked around the castle doing chores in a half dazed state in a feeling of lust and joy. He didnt necessarily know what him and arthur were but he could care less .
It was late in the day when Merlin was back in Arthur's room . He had no chores until Arthur was done training which should've ended by now. Merlin got bored so he snooped around Arthur's desk to see if there was any wars to worry about and tied up the mess of the desk a bit
Humming a song from a feast weeks before while he worked. Merlin grabbed a metal square without thinking anything of it but as soon as he touched it his vision went black .
A pounding headache full of curiosity and fear came faster than a lighting built through his head. He tried opening his eyes but as soon as he did a white light was the only thing he could see and then things stared coming into vision . 'What is going on?' he thought to himself .
"Merlin!" Arthur yelled while shaking the small frail boy, hoping for a response.
Worry washed over Arthur's body. panic and fear that Merlin wouldn't come to but some pressure lifted off his heart when Merlin's eyes open. But he knew this battle wasn't over yet
Merlin started to see Arthur more and more but he still wasn't in full view. He couldn't hear much besides muffled yelling and a major ringing . He started to remember what had happened piece by piece . He immediately jilted up when he remembered the metal square. He stood up and scrambled the desk to find it but it seemed the deadly object had disappeared.
Arthur grabbed onto Merlin as soon as he stopped rummaging around like an insane psychopath and squeezed him as hard as he could.
"What happened to you!?" Arthur yelled with worry and very red puffy eyes that were so blue the could have replaced the ocean and no one would notice.
"I-I don't know" Merlin stuttered "I touched something on your desk and immediately blacked out and got a massive headache ."
Arthur kissed Merlin deeply and released so no one could see just in case someone heard all the ruckus and came up to see what the hell was going on.
"I thought I lost you." said Arthur still holding onto Merlin's face
"Good luck trying to do that, you're stuck with me forever." said Merlin trying to lighten the subject. "How long was I out ?" He asked Arthur
"I don't know, I came in about ten minutes ago and you were on the floor against the wall, I thought you just dosed off at first bit then I nudged you a few times and you did nothing so I shook you a bit and when you did nothing i started to panic." Arthur said while messing with Merlin's earlobes a bit
"Oh" Merlin said Turing pink because the started to enjoy the feeling more than he should
"What" Arthur asked
"Nothing , just I am cold that's all" Merlin rushed out
"Oh, I so believe that." Arthur let go of Merlin's ears and went over and locked his door.
Merlin was still sitting on the floor looking around at the burn marks on the walls and floors from the mass explosion.
"Now" Arthur said " let's get back to business" he walked towards Merlin with a smirk
