i would like to give all my readers a huge thank you. i never expected this short story to get such great feedback.
my mother only raised me single for three years before she met my wonderful stepfather, but i like to think this story is based off of my mama. her strength alone gives me the motivation to live another day. my mama and my writing are the only things keeping me going. she's the type of woman to fight her battles alone, head strong, knowing she will get what she wants. i can only dream about being as determined and independent as my mama. she's sassy, funny, and loving and absolutely the inspiration for the story of Rosemary and her babies.
even though she doesn't know i write stories lol.
