About 2 weeks later

It was close to 11 pm and Bailey was losing her patience with Sean

"He still hasn't texted?" Josh asked her

"No! He gets off work at 5 why is he this late?!" Bailey said out loud

Bailey and Sean had plans to hang out that night but Sean still hasn't come home from work

Julian is at his girlfriend's Chloe's place and Josh is trying to keep Bailey company so she isn't alone in the boy's apartment but he also had plans

"Oh here, go through this to keep you busy," Josh said passing her this small notebook "It's Sean's he left when he moved out the first time but he left it in my room by accident so can you give it back to him?"

Bailey nodded as she just flipped through the notebook

"Look I really got to go I promised some friends I would be there at 9 and I'm really late," Josh said trying to leave

"Go ahead... I'll just wait for Sean... More...Alone...by myself..." Bailey said trying to guilt him into keeping her company

"Fine I'll wait for Sean a little" Josh said in Bailey's delight as he took the notebook to flip through "These are Sean's plans and goals it's what he inspired to do before he got caught up in the 9 to 5 lifestyle"

Bailey looked at some of the things Josh pointed and noticed how detailed they are "He wants his own restaurant? I never knew that!"

"Yeah only Julian and I know, it was his plan since college but he dropped it some time ago," Josh said as the door opened to reveal a very late Sean Lew

"Sorry." Sean said as he dropped his stuff on the floor and immediately went to the fridge for a drink

Josh walked over to Sean said a few words to him, waved bye to Bailey and finally left to go to his destination

"What took you so long?!" Bailey asked

"Work" Sean simply said

"Work for an extra 6 hours?!" Bailey said "Are you lying to me?!"

"Bailey, if you're just going to get an attitude then go back to Tati and Gabe's," Sean said not in the mood for any arguments tonight

It was times like this where he missed Kaycee, as she would know what to do in these situations

"What happened? Why you have to stay so long?" Bailey asked in a more concerned tone as she rarely sees Sean so drained and upset

"I'm one of four head chefs at the restaurant, and we work in pairs one for the morning the other for night, I'm the morning chef for my pair" Sean said "But the other chef didn't come in so I had to stay through his whole shift until he arrived at 10"

"Oh, I'm sorry babe, did he at least get fired?" Bailey asked

"Nope, we don't have anyone ready to step up to take his place and good chefs are hard to find, he's pulled this stunt before so he knows he can get away with it," Sean said
