Chapter 7: Sweet Revenge

Gohan was about to attack the androids when they both vanished, and he immediately held up his right arm and a leg, blocking an attack on either side. The androids seemed a little surprised, but Gohan wasn't about to give them a moment of rest- he punched 17 in the face and kneed 18 in the stomach. While 18 went flying, Gohan turned towards 17, who was back on his feet and rushing at Gohan. Gohan sidestepped, causing 17 to skid to a halt, turn around and start firing a barrage of energy blasts. Gohan yelled, using his energy to set up an invisible barrier when all of a sudden 18 appeared behind Gohan and started attacking him. Gohan used his arm to hold up the barrier while parrying 18's attacks with his legs. "Come on, at least make me use my arm, too!" Gohan taunted. 18 gritted her teeth and threw another punch, but Gohan deflected it with one leg and kicked her across the face with another. He redirected his attention towards 17 again and reeled back his arm, charging up a one-handed Kamehameha and firing it. The Kamehameha wave absorbed all of 17's blasts and barreled towards the android, who leaped out of the way and charged at Gohan, who quickly stopped holding the Kamehameha and blocked 17's knee with his hand. Then, Gohan pushed 17's leg down, causing the android to begin a somersault. Gohan followed that up by kneeing 17 in the gut, stunning him, and then Gohan uppercutted the cyborg in the jaw, finishing his assault by shoving an energy blast into 17's stomach. The energy blast exploded and 17 was sent hurtling backwards through a couple of buildings. "17!" 18 exclaimed. She looked like she was about to go check on her brother, but Gohan was now focused on her. He charged at 18, shouting "Don't look away!" 

18 and Gohan clashed fists all around the area, until eventually 18 tried to kick Gohan. Gohan blocked the attack, although the force of it caused him to move backwards a little. Gohan lowered his arms slowly- and then he was kicked in the gut by both 17 and 18 so hard that he doubled over, coughing. Then he went flying backwards into a building and it broke apart, leaving Gohan standing in a crater against a wall, temporarily unable to move. 18 suddenly appeared directly in front of Gohan and placed one hand against the wall, next to Gohan's head. "Wow." 18 mused, smirking as she leaned forward until her face was an inch from Gohan's, "That was almost impressive. Can we wrap up playtime and actually fight now?" She shot Gohan in the chest with an energy blast and his back broke through the wall. Gohan tumbled across the floor, eventually stopping and struggling to stand. 17 landed on the ground next to his sister. "Well, that was entertaining. I'm actually debating whether or not we should keep you alive to have some more fun later on down the road." Gohan clenched his teeth as he spit a few tiny pebbles out of his mouth. "You..." he rasped, beginning to stand up while quietly chuckling, "You two haven't even pushed me to my full power in this form."  Gohan stood up straight, perfectly fine, and he smirked at the androids. "Alright, then... Playtime is over." 

Gohan's smirk disappeared as he got ready to fight once again. "It's time I stopped holding back." 17 folded his arms, smiling arrogantly. "Fine. If you won't hold back, then I guess we won't, either. What do you say, Sis?" he asked, looking at 18. 18 sighed, nodding. "Sure, whatever. Let's just end this." "Don't think it'll be that easy!" Gohan warned. They began fighting once more, but now Gohan had a clear advantage. For every physical attack the androids threw, double the amount were thrown back at them. For every energy attack they used, triple the amount were sent at them. Eventually the twins leaped backward, both of them breathing heavily. 17's shirt was torn and 18's leggings were torn, too. "This isn't over!" 17 declared, and then he turned and flew off. "We'll be seeing you again soon enough." 18 promised, and then she flew off after her brother. Gohan watched them go, then realized something: he had just won against the androids.
