Gentle disarray (COMPLETED)

Chapter 3

Sakura: 

Sakura woke and sat up groggily, she was still so tired, surely 5 more minutes wouldn't be the death of anyone she thought laying back down getting comfortable, then sitting back up with a start 

"Oh shit the man in my house! I forgot" she remembered jumping out of her bed and running down the hall 

breathing a sigh of relief she saw he was still asleep, she went and checked on his vitals and he appeared to be stable, 

she was still exhausted she must have gotten only 2 hours of sleep that night, and she had to go back to work in an hour. 

Sakura hopped in the shower trying to wake herself up, she pulled her uniform on and found a bagel to eat, she put out water and food next to the man and wrote a quick note letting him know where she was and wrote her phone number if he needed her, 

why she was going all out to help him was beyond her, she must just be really tired she sighed, 

after replacing his bandages she grabbed her bag and headed for the door, she really needed a coffee. 

Sasuke: 

Sasuke woke with his head pounding and his side aching, attempting to sit up he felt a sharp pain in his side, when the events of the previous night replayed in his head, the Akatsuki member, Itachi's cause of death a traitor and... A beautiful emerald eyed savior. 

Sasuke looked around and took in his surroundings, he was in what appeared to be a small living room, laying on the floor on some old towels, to his side he saw a bottle and some food with a note beside it, in neat scribbled writing it said "Just gone out for work, will be back at 6pm you shouldn't try to move to much - we will talk when I get home - Sakura" 

"Sakura" Sasuke repeated to himself "So thats her name" 

Sasuke eventually felt well enough to stand, this woman was one hell of a doctor he thought to himself, running his hand through his hair he begun to look for his phone or some kind of phone to let Naruto, the boss of the Uzumaki clan mob who was in an alliance with the Uchiha's and Sasuke's best friend know where he was and what he found out, 

as he searched he noticed a photo of what must've been Sakura at maybe 6 years old sitting on her fathers lap, she was so cute with her rosy cheeks and shy smile, then his eyes traveled to her father, when he stood shocked, He was Kizashi Haruno... Mob boss, or old mob boss. Sakura... Is a part of the mafia? He thought, and not only that she was his sworn enemy, the granddaughter of the man who killed Sasuke's parents...

and yet she saved his life, that either meant she didn't recognize him or... Didn't know. Sasuke knew it was most likely the latter, perhaps that was better he couldn't help but respect the old mans decision to keep his daughter out of the life of the mafia, truth be told 

no one knew he had a daughter, so in a way he succeeded in sheltering her, except now Sasuke knew, but he didn't know what he was going to do with the information, 

he figured he should leave, ignore her note and disappear from her life, it would probably be better for everyone, but something kept him there waiting for her return, 

something inside him made him eager to see the woman again, so he waited. 

~ TIME SKIP ~ 

Sasuke heard keys rattling outside the door, and the door open and the exhausted looking Sakura walk in, she placed her bag on the shelf, and rubbed her eyes, the poor woman looked like she had been dragged though hell and back, and yet she still looked captivating, something about this woman was driving him crazy, 

taking a breath he waited for her to turn the corner, 

as she did he heard her suck in a breath, 

"you're awake I see" she stated obviously 

"Yes, ma'am, thank you for taking care of me" 

Sakura smiled halfheartedly "No problemo" 

she looked so fragile Sasuke thought, "what has this woman gone through" he wondered to himself, 

"I suppose I should introduce myself, my name is Sasuke Uchiha" 

"Sakura Haruno" she replied "Tell me why you didn't want to go to the hospital" she asked with her hands on her hips 

"Well... ahh... that's a long story" Sasuke replied awkwardly, 

Just as Sakura was about to reply she stumbled, and reached her arm out grabbing the wall to support herself, 

rushing forward Sasuke caught her as she fell, she must've been exhausted, suddenly feeling guilty he realized she probably hadn't slept much at all last night and then had gone to work all day. 

He lifted her up bridal style and winced as he felt his side scream in pain, but carried her to the couch and lay her on it gently placing a blanket over her. 

With that Sasuke decided it was time to leave, he left a note saying thank you and gave her his office address to come find him and get her money back for her help, 

for some reason he was excited to see her again, but knew he had no right to put her into the life he lived, plus he had promised himself to have no weak points, she would turn his world upside down. 

Glancing at the pink haired beauty one last time he closed the door behind him. 

Now he had to tell his clan what he had found out about his brothers murder, nothing was going to take him from his path of vengeance.
