Gentle disarray (COMPLETED)

Chapter 18

Naruto: 

It was completely silent around him, 

he had woken up with blood dripping down his head, and his car half into a tree, 

Sasuke's car was nowhere to be seen, alarm bells went off in Naruto's mind, something wasn't right, the pair were excellent drivers, something must have happened. 

He strained his memory trying to figure out what had happened, 

he was on the phone with Sasuke, they were on their way back to Sasuke's base to get back up and supplies for facing Madara... 

Sasori must've called Madara and prepared an interception, 

Naruto wasn't blind, he saw his best friends affection for Sakura, he knew this was different to any other woman Sasuke had been with, normally they were the ones chasing, "earning Sasuke's affection" this time. Sasuke was the one earning hers. 

The two were something else when together, that Naruto couldn't help but make fun of them when they were together, in turn earning a punch from Sasuke and a cute blush from Sakura, 

its true Naruto had found Sakura extremely attractive when he first saw her, but he wasn't going to pursue anything for the sake of Sasuke, 

Naruto knew if it came to it, he would die to help Sasuke and Sakura be happy, he knew he could trust Shikamaru to run his clan, 

Naruto felt like he was the most expendable, he had no family, no loved one to come home to, no one who loved him enough to make him need to stay, but Sasuke had that, and Naruto wasn't willing to let that be taken away. In Sasuke's dark life he needed light and love, Sakura happened to be a personification of both of those aspects, 

chuckling Naruto praised himself for being so deep and thoughtful, it wasn't very often when that happened, 

then a sharp pain went through his head, bringing him back to the circumstance at hand, he was alone, injured and trapped in a car by himself. 

"Is he dead?" an unknown voice spoke 

'well shit, guess i'll add about to be killed on my list' Naruto groaned reaching for his gun, 

he may be willing to die but not without a fight! 

Atleast that's what he though before he felt a sharp needle pricking the side of his neck making everything blur, 

"We have Uchiha and Uzumaki now" the voice said 

"Fuckkkk" Naruto mumbled before darkness took over

Hinata: 

Hinata's body still felt like it was on fire, she was laying on a bed in the lab where Sakura worked, Hinata's breathing felt shallow and coursed, her eyelids heavy as she struggled to breathe, 

guilt plagued her, because of her Sakura had been forced to assist the Akatsuki, because of her, her family had been forced to pay for her 'safety', Hinata was sick of being treated as an object of worth, something to be traded back and forth, she hated her situation, and she didn't know how to fix it, 

so she lay there, 

breathing. 

slowly. 

She looked to Sakura, the kind hearted stubborn woman who refused to take no as an answer slowly breaking into obedience, 

'yes sir.' 

'no sir' 

'thank you sir' 

Hinata couldn't take it any longer, 

she had to do something, but what? 

suddenly four men entered the room, Hinata couldn't she their faces, 

"Orochimaru, bring Haruno, we will require her assistance." 

"why the fuck do you need me" Sakura growled her voice dangerously low 

"Uh uh uh missy, I still have spare" Orochimaru pulled out another syringe, 

the sight of it made Hinata feel as if she had just been stabbed by it again, pain shot through her body, causing her to whimper a little, 

Sakura must've heard her, because she quickly stopped protesting and quietly said 

"Yes sir." 

and soon the pink haired woman had followed the two out of the room,  leaving hinata alone, 

she heard the door close with a soft click, but no lock, smiling to herself she realised they thought she was too weak to do anything, 

excellent. 

Problem was, their assumptions were pretty accurate, every move felt like 100 needles stabbing into her skin, but she couldn't stop, 

she had to help Sakura escape 

Sakura had so much more to live for, 

and so she dragged herself towards the supply of byakugan, testing records and drug samples, 

she had to destroy it all. 

looking around she looked for something she could use to light this entire place on fire, it would give Sakura time to escape, 

and if Hinata were to die she would save her family the agony of having to bend to the will of the Akatsuki, 

it was all her fault, 

she had trusted Toneri and she shouldn't have... 

fumbling around in the cupboards a large grin stretched across her pale face as her shaky hands landed on a packet of matches 

straightening back up, wincing while ignoring the pain, she moved back towards all the supplies, 

she heard yelling from down the hall, 

a man yelling? 

"I CAN'T CHOOSE, JUST KILL ME PLEASE!" 

then screaming

it was Sakura 

Hinata knew she was running out of time, 

she had to help those people get away from the Akatsuki 

quickly arranging all the highly valued research she begun breaking every vile she could find 

tearing everything and anything apart that she could get her hands on 

and finally she took a match 

and dropped it on her pile of chaos 

laughing she limped out of the room, 

next she had to help Sakura 

then her role was complete. 

She could find peace in death.

Slightly shorter chapter, Naruto and Hinata perspective, 

do you want me to add them (naruhina) more into this story? 

just for future reference I am thinking of making them more the main couple in the second story, 

like book 1 Sasusaku, book 2 Naruhina, potentially book 2 shikatema etc? Just tossing ideas around, let me know what you think!
