Second Chances

Chapter 6

The time was 8:22am and Ava was just waking up. Olivia had woken up around 7:30 when the doctor came in to tell her when her discharge time was, and explain what they would do.
Olivia had managed to collect Ava's clothing items before she woke up so they would be ready to go once 11:00 came around.

Ava opened her eyes slightly to see Olivia was watching her and smiling. The smile on her face was small, but it was there.
"What are you doing Liv?" Ava asked, her voice still drowsy
"Waiting." She responded simply, still smiling
"For what?"
"For you to wake up, and for 11:00" Olivia said remembering Ava still didn't know they were going home today.
"Whats at 11:00?" Ava asked pulling herself up in the extremely uncomfortable hospital bed.
"When were gonna go home." Olivia said widening her smile. Ava's blank stare transformed into a smile that went from ear to ear. She pulled Olivia into a hug
"Thank you" Ava whispered as she rested her head on Olivia's shoulder.

11:00 rolled around fast. A nurse came in with a wheel chair and Olivia helped Ava out of bed.
"I can walk." Ava said as she saw the wheelchair.
"Its the hospital policy hun. Keep your arms, hands and feet in the vehicle at all times." The nurse said as Ava sat down. It caused a small giggle from all three of them.

Olivia helped Ava get in the passenger side of the car, and then she got in the drivers side. Turning the key Olivia smiled at Ava and pushed a small piece of hair out of her face. The car ride was quick and silent, not much time to say anything seeing how Olivia lived 3 minutes away from the hospital.

Olivia parked her car and helped Ava out. They walked into the building and then into the elevator. Ava leaned against Olivia's side and buried her face into her arm and hip. The fresh sent of her clothing calmed Ava, almost as much as her favorite blanket did. The doors opened and they walked out to apartment 312. Olivia walked turned the key and opened the door.
"Oh my god, sorry this place is such a mess." Olivia said picking up the wine glasses off her counter.
"Liv, it's fine." Ava said walking around a bit.
"You can sit if you want" Olivia said pointing to her couch. Ava walked over, sat down and crossed her legs.
"Do you want a drink or something? I have tea if you want some?" Olivia said trying to welcome her new house guest.
"No thanks liv. What I want is for you to stop worrying about what your home looks like and relax." Ava said getting up and standing by Olivia.
"God your starting to sound like Elliot."  Olivia rolled her eyes and walked over to the couch with Ava. She rested her head on Olivia's shoulder and closed her eyes for a moment thinking about her new life, and then falling into an unexpected slumber. Olivia lightly picked her up and transferred her to her bed and wrapping her in some blankets.

Olivia took advantage of the time she had to clean the house, and making it as safe as possible, even though Ava wasn't a toddler, Olivia wanted to keep her safe. She picked up some blankets off the floor and placed them on couch, washed some dishes and picked up a little in the extra room where Ava would be staying.  

Olivia turned on some cleaning music and cleaned the rest of the house. A couple hours later a small voice came from the hallway and she knew who that was. Olivia looked away from her phone to see Avas small body leaning against the wall, her hair was a mess from sleeping and her eyes were droopy. 

"Mornin' sleepy" Olivia said shutting her phone off and sitting up. 
"Morning." Ava said drowsy 
"How'd you sleep hun?" 
"Good, it was nice sleeping in something other than a crappy ol' hospital bed" They both chuckled 
"Hey, would you be okay if Elliot came over tonight?" Olivia said as Ava sat down on the couch 
"Yea, I dont see why not." Ava responded simply 
"Okay, cool. He should be over around 5." 
"okay, im gonna go get ready." Ava said fleeing into the hallway and then slowly walking back "-Liv, I dont have any clothes, all my stuff is at my dads." she said walking over to Olivia
"Im sure I can find you something." she said getting up and walking into her room, Ava followed close behind. Olivia got on her knees and looked through the drawers of her dresser. She dug through all the old clothing she never wore and pulled out some black leggings and a gray shirt with the "NYPD" sign in the top corner. Olivia handed the clothes to Ava 
"Here see of those fit, if not I can get you some others."
"Thanks Liv." Ava said and walked into the bathroom. 


A couple hours later there was a knock at the door and a familiar voice. Olivia opened the door and greeted Elliot with a small peck on the lips. He revealed a bouquet of flowers from behind his back and handed it to Olivia
"Oh my God, El! These are beautiful thank you!" She said taking them and placing them in a vase of water. 
"Only the best for my beautiful girl." Elliot smiled revealing his dimple and drew Olivia into another passionate kiss. Ava walked out of her room and into the kitchen where she caught the two in the kiss. 
"Ewwwww, get a room guys!" She exclaimed, shielding her eyes. They all laughed and Elliot greeted Ava
"Hey sweet girl, how are you feeling?" He said hugging her 
"I'm doing good." 
"How's Liv treating you? I know she can be a real pain sometimes" He asked sarcastically, Olivia playfully slapped him in the arm when he said that. 
"Oh yea, she's been such a pain lately!" Ava answered and laughed. Olivia rolled her eyes and shoved Ava. 
"Liv im hungryyyyy!" Ava said in a babyish voice and latching onto her arm. 
"Okay, well what do you want?" 
"Food." 
"Well you've gotta specify, we could order out, theres Italian, Chinese, we could get pizza?" 
"Yes! Pizza! I haven't had pizza in years!!" Ava almost yelled
"Okay, what kind of p-" Olivia was cut off
"Cheese." Ava said and smiled an innocent smile. 
"K, ill call. Go pick a movie with El." Olivia said and Ava walked over to Elliot who was looking through her movie selection. Olivia and Ava decided on Midnight Sun; a sappy movie. Elliot figured he didnt have a say against two women, one being his girlfriend. 

The pizza came and they all munched on it while watching the movie. Towards the middle of the movie tears started to roll down Olivia's face same with Ava's and by the time the movie was finished they were both sobbing. Elliot shed a couple of tears too, but he hugged the two crying women in front of him. Olivia turned to Ava and watched her sob and laughed a bit wiping her tears. 
"Baby its just a movie." Olivia said still crying a bit and hugged Ava 
"Then why are you crying?!" Ava cried into Olivia's shoulder. 
"Its okay Ava, it ended happy!" Olivia said sucking in the tears. 
"But she's dead!" Ava cried more
"Its okay sweetie." Olivia said and stroked her hair
"I dont like that movie." She said wiping her remaining tears.
"Its, late honey, lets get you to bed." Olivia said walking to Ava's room and winking at Elliot.

Once Ava was asleep the two love birds stayed up and watched another movie. Throughout  movie Olivia kept glancing over at Elliot. She inched closer and closer to him as it played. He knew what she was trying to do and it was working. 
She placed a hand on his chest and started undoing the buttons on his shirt. 
"Woah Liv, whatcha doin there?" He said flipping her on her back and kissing her gently. She giggled as he picked her up and took her to the bedroom, locking the door behind him. He dropped her on the bed and took his shirt off, kissing her as he removed her shirt. Elliot kissed down her body, removing pieces of clothing as he got to them. He got to her core and remover her panties earning a small moan from Olivia. He placed a finger on the top of her clit and massaged it while he kissed the inside of her thighs. 
"Baby, please." Olivia moaned . Elliot freed his tongue into Olivia's core creating many moans and whimpers from her. he unbuckled his belt and removed his pants. Olivia grabbed his hard rock erection and started rubbing it while he sucked her. 
"You ready for me Livvy?" She nodded her head and spread her legs wider. Elliot dove right into her wet core, he covered her mouth as she almost screamed at his thrusts. Her moans became louder as he thrusted faster and harder. Immediately he felt her closing her walls around his massive dick.

There were two bangs on the wall next to their room, it sounded like it came from Ava's room, later following a small voice, 
"Guys, seriously?! Keep it down!!" Ava yelled. Olivia pulled herself up and off the bed, grabbing her robe. She walked to Avas room and lightly knocked on the door. 

"Hey Ava?" Olivia said opening the door a little. She saw Ava sitting in the chair next to her desk, she had found a pen and paper and was drawing.
"Thats a really good." Olivia said looking at the person she had drawn. 
"thanks. Sorry I interrupted you an el, it was getting really gross." 
"No, sorry we were so loud. we need to watch ourselves... or just not do it, while your here that is." Ava laughed a little but then continued to draw her figure. 
"Well, im gonna go to bed for real this time." Ava said putting the pen down and climbing in bed.  Olivia walked over and kissed her forehead before turning the light out and closing her door.
