While Meredith was walking back home she felt like someone was watching her so she quickened her pace
But she was pulled into a alley and they covered her mouth so she couldn't scream but lucky Meredith gave the person a headache with her powers so the vampire let her go and fell to the floor from the pain in his head

"Stop it!" He yelled in agony

"Who are you and what do you want!" Meredith yelled back

"I should be asking you that question witch" he said now looking up at Meredith grinning "since you freaked out on me and stabbed me for know reason"

"What do you get out of pretending you don't know me?" She asked in disbelief
"How pathetic can you get"

"I really don't know who you are I just know your a witch and you hate me? I'm guessing we met before and I was quite a unpleasant guy to you?" He said

She laughed "unpleasant?" she replied

" my apologies" he said smiling

"Well then you must have really forgot about me" she said
Kol just stared at her not knowing how to reply

"I should get home goodbye kol" she said walking away

"What took you so long Mary?"
Edwards mother asked

"Sorry it was along line and it's mered-"

"Edward son we need to talk" she looked at Meredith "privately."

"Sure mother" Edward said heading to a room so they can speak
Meredith couldn't stop wondering why her boyfriends mother didn't like her what did she even do to her Meredith has never saw this woman before
Pondering for 20 minutes she was broken out of her thoughts by Edward

"Um mer my parents told me some news and I have to leave with them an-"

"What happened?" She asked

"My grandmother is badly ill"

" I will pack our stuff no-"

"No Meredith your not coming with us" he said

"What why"

"Because my family don't like you obviously and it's just going to be awkward it's better if you stay I'll be back in a week"
Meredith was hurt by this

"Sure.." She said walking towards her room

"Thank goodness i couldn't stand her presence anylonger shall we leave now Edward"

"Yes mother"

After her boyfriend left Meredith was reading a book trying to distract herself
she heard a noise coming from upstairs she ignored it she heard it again this time she went to go check it out walking into a dark bedroom the window was open she went to go close it but when she touched the window the door slammed shut Meredith was startled she turned to see red eyes and sharp teeth she screamed the person got closer to her and pushed her against the window trying to push her out but Meredith put up a fight but the vampire bit her wrist sucking her blood Meredith's vision was beginning to turn blurry and her eyes were closing the next thing she knew she was falling from the window to her death.
