"Mary!" Mrs James nudged me I slightly jumped startled from my thoughts

"Yes sorry" I said looking at my surroundings I was still at the funeral but it had ended 10 minutes ago

"You should go home" she said giving me a look I couldn't comprehend
I just nodded looking at the ground Edward was under turning around to leave I was pulled back

"Goodbye Mary" Mrs James said with a sad smile

"Goodbye" I said turning to leave once again this time I decided to walk around the cemetery I ended up laying down against a tree I was sad but didn't feel the need to cry I never cried once since the funeral or any other day since his death I just felt sad and empty nothing more hearing the very last car start and leave there I was all by myself in this cemetery I looked dead if someone had passed by pale skin eyes red dark circles dressed in all black vampire? I felt very weak to the point were I couldn't bring myself to stand up so I just closed my eyes hearing the sound of leafs getting stepped on I decided to ignore it but it kept getting louder and closer so I opened my eyes to see kol infront of me

"What are you doing here" I asked

"I don't know" he said laying down beside me

"Hmm" I said looking straight

"Meredith I'm sorry" he said
I turned to face him he looked horrible so pale he looked white and his dark circles made him look dead even though he technically is 

"When was the last time you've drunken blood?" I asked completely changing the subject

"Don't change the subject" he said flatly

"Well Fine what do you want me to say kol do you think I will forgive you because I'm not a forgiving person" I said

"I never  expected to be forgiven"
I turned to look at him again
What I was thinking made me want to stab myself 100 times how dare I think something so repulsive I looked away as soon as he turned to look at me shaking my head I standed Up
Shoving the leafs off of me aggressively
Kol grabbed my wrist

"What are yo-"

"Meredith come with me" he spoke bearly Audible from the wind blowing the leafs everywhere

"Where?" I asked speaking loudly
He ignored my question and dragged me away from the cemetery towards the road I didn't say anything he was walking towards the woods why there it was dark outside why the woods
He kept on walking until we came to a halt I turned to give him a glare when he pulled me into this abandoned house

"Ladies first" he spoke after what felt like an eternity

"What no im not going into some abandoned hou-"

"Meredith just go" he said in a more stern tone so I obeyed and reached for the door handle and twisted it the door make a loud creaking sound when it was fully open now I couldn't see anything it was dark so I took a step inside and turned to see kol but he wasn't on the door step anymore

"Kol what the hell!" I said feeling the irritation building up
I looked around the house walking with my arm out trying to touch anything I can mostly trying to find some sort of candle or something that can make light I stoped when I heard something move if kol was playing a game with me I was surely going to murder him

"Kol I swear if you messing around I will kill you!" I yelled

But there was nothing but silence
So I decided to leave out of this house when something pulled my arm back I let out a scream when I saw red eyes
