Two days later, Dan decided to go to Zoey's house. He was confused now.
He had a girlfriend, and yet he liked that Phil liked him. What does that mean?

He thought that maybe seeing Zoey would answer his questions and sort out his feelings.

He felt happy when he spent time with Zoella but he was happier when Phil smiled at him when they bumped into each other in the hallway.

He liked Zoella. There was no doubt about it. But maybe it was not in the way he believed he liked her. Maybe he liked someone else?

"Hey."
Dan didn't reply. Instead he looked into Phil's blue eyes that made him feel like he was looking at an ocean. He loved the feeling he got when he looked at them.

Phil didn't say anything. He stared back. He was disappointed that they hadn't spoken about Phil's feelings for Dan, but if Dan didn't want to talk about it, Phil was going to try to move on.

Phil smiled at Dan. Dan smiled back; a shy smile that made Phil 'aww' inwardly.

They didn't have to say anything to each other. The silence was comfortable.

'I like him.'
Dan decided.
