Allison's POV.

I sat in my room, thinking of what had happened previously today. My mind was blowing up and then there was a knock. I turned and saw Finn.

"Hey! Can I come in?" He asked. I nodded and wiped a tear that formed in my eye. I smiled as he came up and sat down next to me. "I know I can't ask but..." I waited until I knew what he was thinking.

"Finn!" I said. "You can't ask at all about it."

"Can't you tell me?" He asked.

"My mom doesn't want other people to know what happens in here." I told him. "As long as you're staying here you're not suppose to know a single thing." I stated.

"Fine!" It was silence for a while and then he looked to me and opened his mouth to speak. "You know what people say and call me at school! It isn't true. I'm not a fuck boy. I was always picked on because of the way I am with girls. Even beautiful ones like yourself." I started blushing.

"Was there anything else that they said or did?" I asked.

"I have his problem. But..." suddenly my little sister entered.

"Mom said no boys in your room." Leyla commented. I shaked my head and looked away.

"We're talking. Can you go back to your room?" I ask her. Leyla crossed her arms as if she was annoyed.

"Fine!" I looked to Finn as he got up and started to leave. I looked at him before he walked out. God! Why does he have to be so attractive? Am I developing feelings for Finn?

Finn's POV.

I was close to telling Allison that I have a problem with my eye. Something she doesn't know or seen yet. I'm hoping she doesn't find out. Or else she'll think I'm a freak like the others.

General POV.

Allison, Finn, Leyla and Cheryl sat at the dining table eating their dinner. Leyla made eye contact with Finn and gave him dirty looks. Allison saw and kicked her underneath the table.

"Ow! Mom! Allison kicked me." Allison carried on eating.

"Leg spasm." She said.

"Stop! I have had an horrible day today, no more." Cheryl was on a verge of breaking down.

"Sorry mom." Allison apologised. It was quiet for a while until Finn decided to speak up.

"Nice food Mrs Collins." Cheryl looked to Finn and smiled politely.

"Thank you Finn." Cheryl went back to eating and then quiet again.

"I'm going to bed afterwards if that's okay?" Allison broke the silence.

"First clean the pots." Cheryl said.

"I could help." Finn interrupted.

"No, no. You don't have to." Cheryl said.

"I don't mind. If Allison is tired I could help clean. I do anyway." Finn helped.

"Thanks Finn." Cheryl thanked. The whole dinner was quiet.

-

Allison took herself to bed as Cheryl and Finn stayed downstairs cleaning the pots. Leyla was in the sitting room and was watching Finn with her stink eye.

"Thanks Finn! Everything has gone to hell since Allison's dad walked out on us." Cheryl said.

"It's fine. The same thing happened to my dad. He learned to cope and got me out of the misery. You should think about the positives. At least you still have Leyla and Allison." Cheryl smiled at Finn and grinned.

"If you knew what happened today you would think I was crazy." Cheryl spoke.

"Whatever happened it wasn't your fault." Finn stated.

"It was. I started it and he walked out."

"He still loves you. No one can walk out and not love you. It's impossible." Finn said cheering Cheryl.

"Finn! would you like to stay around more. I like your company." Cheryl asked.

"I might have to go back when my dad comes home." Finn said.

"Is your dad single?" Cheryl asked.

"Yes." Finn looked confused but didn't bother asking. He knew what the answer would be.

"That's great." Cheryl went into the sitting room and left Finn in the kitchen.

-

Finn headed to bed at 10 and left Cheryl alone by herself. Finn went into Gary's room and started making himself comfortable. He climbed in and thought. What if he did tell Allison about his eye? Would she accept him for him or think he's some weirdo? Finn thought all night till he drifted off to sleep. School tomorrow.
