Friendship

Friendship is like magic,
Like fireworks at night,
Beautiful when they burst,
Emitting a glowing bright light.

They are like a four leaved clover,
Very hard to find,
But when you seek these beautiful souls,
Nothing will ever break your bind.

Many people will walk into your lives,
And leave when their time will end,
But footprints ever so steady in your heart,
Will only be left by a true friend.

Friendship isn’t about someone,
You’ve known for the longest,
It is when they say “I’m here for you”,
And have proved it.

Friendship adds happiness,
And subtracts all our misery,
By doubling our joy,
And dividing all our injuries.

So love your friends for everything,
And thank them for sure,
For just like diamonds they stand in the sun,
Making you look beautiful as ever more.
