The Past and The Presents

(Y/N)'S POV

After me and Erza were dressed and ready we invited Lucy in and talked for a while before heading to dinner, the conversation was sort of depressing.

Lucy: So (Y/N), what did you want to talk about
Erza: please don't bring up what happened moments ago
(Y/N): no it's not that, I.. I wanted to talk about my past with you two
Lucy: ya you've mentioned that before
(Y/N): ya, Erza already knows most of my background but I just wanted to clear the air with you and hopefully share MORE about my past with Erza
Erza: (Y/N) you really don't need to
(Y/N): well sorry I'm going to, ok here I go ...
When I was little I never fit in, so I was technically always left out, eventually I grew tired of that and in middle school I started to skip classes, in time I joined a gang and as time passed I became one of the baddest guys around, I've hurt a lot of people out of fear and for my own personal gain, but I realized that revenge can't make you happy because all it does is make others suffer.
Lucy: well... I didn't expect that
(Y/N): when my parents left me Natsume, I came to a realization, I needed to change for her sake, we were always gonna have disagreements and fights but I promised myself and my parents that I wouldn't let anything happen to her as long as I lived, and I make that same promise to you Erza.
Erza: (Y/N) I won't let anything happen to you either, I fell in love with you despite knowing your bad past and the things you did.
(Y/N): ERZA I KILLED SOMEONE! *sigh* I'm sorry I never told you, and I understand if you wanna leave me, I'll still always protect you no matter what though.

Lucy's mouth was wide open and Erza stood shocked, although not for long, Erza gave me a hard smack on my face and stood their with a clenched fist

Erza: (Y/N) that's the past this is the present! You can't bring back someone from the dead, all you can do is hope their in a better place now, and repent for your sins by becoming better, and that's exactly what your doing so I don't understand why your beating yourself up inside!
Lucy: you must've had a good reason to do that right?
(Y/N): I don't know anymore...

In my darkest times Erza always made me feel better and again she did, she always did Erza pulled me into a tight hug and cried along side me, I didn't mean to cause drama

(Y/N): I'm sorry I ruined this day for you and Lucy, I just... I just felt like I needed to be honest with you
Lucy: for a vacation, there's not a whole lot of relaxation going on here
Erza: exactly what I was thinking

Erza pulled away and equipped her pool side bag and grabbed my hand

Erza: like I said before, whatever you did happened in the past, this is the present and it's time to let go
Lucy: ya, plus we have a surprise for you, since it is the last day you'll be spending here
Erza: (Y/N) let's go

Time skip- 5 minutes

Lucy: ok are your eyes closed, Erza are his eyes closed?
Erza: they are, but I'm going to blindfold him just in case he's peeking

After a few seconds of being in the elevator, Erza started to blindfold me with the same blindfold I used for her, to be honest it was kind of tight

(Y/N): Erza, it's a bit to tight
Erza: oh, sorry let me redo it
Lucy: no can do Erza, leave it as is
(Y/N): Lucy why!?
Erza: you heard her (Y/N)

As I slouched back on the elevators glass, I felt a small peck on my cheek and I smiled

(Y/N): you always know how to make me feel better
Erza: of course I do, now prepare yourself we should be getting off any second now

*ding*

Lucy: Come on!
Erza: I've got him

I was having trouble not falling over, but even if I told the two of them they wouldn't listen, at least not now

Erza: are we ready Lucy?
Lucy: just a few more seconds
(Y/N): What are you guys doing?
Lucy: Done

I felt the blindfold being taken off, and the pressure on the back off my head being relieved, but the real treat was what came next

Erza and Lucy and Etc: HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N)!
(Y/N): woah! Thanks, Natsume your here? Hey look at that, even Chase and his family are here.
Lucy: so what do you think?
Erza: I tried my best to find that Fantasia Cake you wanted but I could only get an angel cake with strawberries
(Y/N): I think everything's perfect, and the cake looks amazing, thank you
Natsume: Well I wouldn't want to waste my vacation time, so how about we open presents eat cake and go swim
(Y/N): sounds good
Erza: alright then
Lucy: mhmm
Erza: ok then I guess we'll start with the gift from Chase and his family
(Y/N): thanks guys, it's nice to see you again Chase
Chase: Hi

When I opened up the small box, I found a black cat plushie, I knew who picked it out already

(Y/N): Hey buddy did you pick this out?
Chase: uh huh! do you like it?
(Y/N): Of course, this is the coolest plushie I've ever seen! He's gonna have to go up against your dragon one day
Chase: my dragon will beat him with one breath attack
(Y/N): it's on

Chase giggled a bit and sat down for a piece of cake, they had to leave earlier than us, so we let them take some cake

Lucy: alright the next one is from Natsume
(Y/N): Natsume! It better not be the same book you give me every year
Natsume: nope this year it's not

When I opened the box, there was a book with the title "How to be a Better Boyfriend" wow Natsume

(Y/N): Natsume!

Erza Laughed as I chased Natsume around, although I got tired of it and sat down for my next gift

(Y/N): *wheeze* god, why do I have to deal with that
Natsume: alright, this one's from Lucy
Lucy: it's sort of a two-way gift, there's one for Erza as well
(Y/N): can't wait

I opened the wrapping paper and dug something up, there was a t-shirt that said I'm with my Erza and another shirt that said I'm with my (Y/N)

(Y/N): cool! boyfriend and girlfriend t-shirts, thanks Lucy
Lucy: Your welcome, their custom made too and if you ever need a size adjustment, I included the companies phone number
Erza: Thank you, Lucy
Natsume: ok this is the coolest one yet, it's from Erza

I took the small box from Natsume's hand and started to peel off the wrapping paper, on the box I saw a logo I recognized and starting tearing the wrapping paper until it was all off.

(Y/N): AN S-CLASS CONNECT! I've been wanting one of these for the longest time!
Erza: Natsume told me th...
(Y/N): Thank You Erza!

I tackled Erza and we both fell to the floor, I kissed her and she kissed me back, and before we started to "make out" Natsume pulled us back up

Natsume: Hey! (Y/N) no funny business here
(Y/N): alright alright
Erza: Ok then, well how about we sit down for some cake then make our way to the park.
Lucy: yay I'm finally gonna be able to kick back and relax, without having Aquarius nag me about work
(Y/N): Erza, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Erza: mhmm
(Y/N) and Erza: Love-Love Slide!

After cake, me and Erza put the gifts in our room then regrouped with the others, Lucy had set up an umbrella and beach bed by the pool and Natsume went to the aquarium, as for me and Erza I think it's pretty obvious.

I hope readers liked this chapter, I liked the idea of giving the reader a dark past, I hope you like it to because it sure does make my job easier and more fun.
