The story takes place in the now abandoned town of Bodie, Washington. This is a real abandoned town with only about 10 buildings left standing. The town was actually run and established in 1888 because of the gold in the area. It did eventually shut down in 1930 in real life.
This story is a fake horror story based on a true place with true dates and the real reason it opened and closed. The people, events, and places in the city are made up but only to provide a backstory to a real place.
This chapter takes place from the years of 1915 to 1922, but the story isn't over here...
