9: Guilt

"Psst Yeonju Unnie" Hyebin nudged the older girl beside her and she nudged back

"Wait a little. She is almost gone" She whispered back and they heard Haemi shouted

"WHY ARE YOU GUYS LOCKING ME IN THIS ROOM?! CHA HYEBIN WHATEVER YOU ARE PLANNING YOU BETTER CANCEL THEM NOW!" Haemi shouted from upstairs and Jimin slammed the door then locked it

"PARK JIMIN!"

"Your sister is aggressive I'm actually surprised" Mrs Park muttered to Hyebin and she closed her eyes then nodded dramatically

"So little girl, why did you told me to lock you sister?" Jimin stood beside the sofa that his mom and Haemi's mom was sitting at

"Um.. Mama, Mom, Dad, Jiminie Oppa" She trailed off and Yeonju was sitting there quietly

"I came to ask you about when will we go to the court?" She started

"We need to collect evidences first cupcakes, you know your father" Her mama said and she shook her head

"I got too many evidence mama" She said and all of them look at her weirdly

"What do you mean?" Jimin sat down

"But.. promise me not to pity my sister. She hates it" She said before nudging Yeonju to show them the videos

"Oh my!" Mrs Park shouted and covered her eyes. Leaving some gaps to watch the video

Soon the video ended and Hyebin took the phone

"I recorded this. There are more and this is nothing compared to the ones she was enduring when she graduated years ago. She went to have ice cream to celebrate with her friends and got hit" Hyebin explained

"Oh my! My poor daughter in law" Mrs Park cried. Haemi's mom was quiet. Silently regretted everything that she did

"Haemi went through so much yet she looks so cheerful" Mr Park said and pushed his glasses that slightly slid down on his nose

Jimin was quiet. He didn't knew what should he do. He felt bad. He felt super bad because he lied to her. He got back with Miyoung without Haemi knowing.

"Mama.. you think, these videos are enough to get us out from his grip?" Hyebin asked

"LET ME OUT! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! WHY IS IT SO QUIET OUT THERE?!" Haemi banged on the door

"Mama, Mom, Dad, Jiminie Oppa and even you Yeonju unnie.. Please never tell Haemi Unnie that I recorded this. I will get scolded" Hyebin begged with her eyes twinkling

"Hyebin ah.. Lets go to our lawyer. With these, he couldn't make up any stories" Mr Park said and stood up. Soon all of them stand up and walk towards the door

"Jimin ah, take care of your wife. She suffered enough" His dad warned before leaving the house and he nodded nervously

They left the house and Jimin closed the door behind him. He bit his lips nervously and walked upstairs. He then stood in front of the door where Haemi was behind it and fidgeted with his fingers. Thinking whether he should just open it or not until he heard a bang from the door making him fell flat on the ground out of surprise

"YAH PARK JIMIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT THERE JUST STANDING?! LET ME OUT!"

"YAH YOU SCARED ME! HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS OUT HERE?!"

"The peephole?"

"AND WHY ON EARTH IS THERE A PEEPHOLE ON THIS DOOR?!"

"JUST LET ME OUT!"

He groaned and unlock the door revealing the girl sitting on the bed with her hands crossed

"You have too many things to explain to me" She glared and Jimin walked in

"What?"

"First. Did you get back with Miyoung?"

"No!" He answered almost immediately and cleared his throat when he realised that it was too obvious " I mean.. What made you think that?"

Haemi raised an eyebrow and points at his phone on the table beside the bed. He gasped and ran to his phone then took it

"I'll take that as a yes. Next question. What happened down there?" She asked again. There was no smile on her face and Jimin gulped

"Nothing.. er.. Just about the court thingy which I don't really understand" He half lied and Haemi just look at him with an eyebrow raised

"Did Hyebin did anything?"

Geez how did this girl know what is happening?! First Miyoung, now Hyebin

"What makes you think that?" Jimin asked

"I saw my logs. I noticed some calls from Yeonju. Note that. Calls. Not Missed calls. So someone might have answered it. But from what I remember, I only texted her. No calling" She said again

It's decided, This girl should be a detective

"Answer me!" She shouted and Jimin snapped out of his thoughts

"I am not sure! I was spacing out"

"Then why did your mom shouted?!"

"When?!"

"She said something like 'Oh My!'"

"I dont know"

"Fine. I'm leaving" She said and stood up. Jimin was flustered and grabbed her wrist

"Where?"

"Out" She yanks her hand away but Jimin held it again "What do you want?!"

"Where are you going? Say it more specifically"

"You dont care"

"I am your husband!"

"Oh shut up! Im just going to the cafe!"

"And meet Jaerim?!"

"Duh? Of course! He is much more better than you" She spat and left Jimin being guilty alone in the house
