25: Rose

"Now, Go!" Seokjin pushed him into the room and they young boy stumbled a bit. He saved the bouquet of flowers from falling and gave his friends a glare before slamming the door behind him

He took a deep breath before fixing his hair again and smelled the roses one last time. Smiling to himself hoping that everything will be okay

Okay Jimin, she's sleeping. Let's try not to wake her up unti-

"Jiminie?" The sound of her voice made him halted in his place. Frozen and flustered because he thought that she was asleep -that was the information that Seokjin got from the nurse-

"Jimin is that you?" The girl asked again and Jimin walked away from the wall that hid his body. He smiled awkwardly when he saw her rubbing her eyes cutely and tried adjusting her vision

"Y-yes its me" He stuttered. Hands still hiding the flowers behind his back. "Uh.. did I wake you up?"

The girl yawned before stretching her arms then nodded with a pout on her lips and Jimin could felt his heartbeat increased by her small actions

"Where did you go?" She glanced at the clock on the wall and looks at her husband blankly. More like spacing out after the nap that she took

"Uh.. Actually" He waddled his way towards her bed with the flowers still hidden behind him. He took a deep breath before plastering a sweet smile on his face.

"I want to say sorry for my behaviour this morning. I-I know it was rude for me to invade your privacy but I was just curious. Then I suddenly went angry when I found out you were lying about you fell. I kmow it scared you to see that side of me.. A-and Im sorry, I was just very worried. The thought of you getting hurt again made me went insane- Okay Ill stop. I know I sound weird but its true. So, will you forgive me?" He showed her the roses he was hiding and he could feel himself warming up

Haemi's eyes twinkled at the sight of her favourite flower. She smiled happily and snatched the flower away from his hand, catching him off guard.

"Roses! How did you know these were my favourite flower?" She chirped and Jimin internally squealed when he saw her smile so happily

Flashback

"Awh Hyebin tell me what is it~" Jimin whined when the little girl shook her head stubbornly

"Nope" She said again for the hundredth time before continue licking her ice cream that Jimin bought for her. The older boy thought that it would be a huge help but unfortunately this little girl was too smart

"Fine. If you tell me what is it, I'll give you whatever sweets you want for a whole week" Jimin challenged and Hyebin's eyes went wide

"A WHOLE WEEK?!"

"Yes, A whole week without your sister knowing. Might as well let you have anything you want for a whole month if you help me answer questions about your sister whenever I ask" He smirked

"Roses! Haemi Unnie loves red roses! She's crazy about them!"

Back to present

"Jimin? I asked?" The girl waved her injured hand in front of his face and he snapped back to reality

"Uh? What?"

"How did you know these were my favourite flowers?"

"A wild guess? Haha" He laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head

"Thank you!" The girl jumped on him to give him a hug and he stumbled a bit with surprise

"You dont know how much I love flowers especially roses" She muffled on his neck and he smiled unknowingly when the girl snuggled her face more to his neck

"So did you forgive me?" The boy asked. The smile was still on his face

"Mm hm!" The girl nodded before sitting back on her bed.

"I am sorry too for my attitude. I was being rude too" She looks down on the flowers on her lap and felt someone cupping her cheeks. It was no one other than he husband, to give her a peck on her lips

"Its alright, we're good now and that's what matters the most" He smiled but groaned in frustration when he heard some squealing noises outside

"Oh my oh my! They're good now I can finally go back to work with peac-"

"GO AWAY YOURE RUINING EVERYTHING" Jimin groaned and the girl chuckled when she heard people outside replied with a sorry

"Uh.. Jimin, I heard you are getting okay now. I mean, I heard Dr Kim said you can go to work yesterday but why are you still here?

"Why? You dont like me being here with you?" Jimin looks up from his phone and the girl frowned

"No. Its just I saw you working at the hospital. I know it's uncomfortable and I know you stayed because of me. Why?"

"See here. I dont want to start working again because I know you will get very lonely. I might get tired from work and all and I'm afraid I cant visit you as often. You cant really walk well yet.. and besides that, you always have nightmares every night" He mumbled the last part. Knowing that the girl actually didnt knew that he heard her cries every night

"But Im okay! Really! I started not using my crutches yesterday and I was okay! Trust me I didnt fall at all."

"But you'll get lonely. Hyebin got discharged this morning" He pouted

"Ill call Yeonju to visit. Please? I dont want your work to be disturbed because of me.. Hm?" She begged and Jimin just sighed

"Fine. I'll start tomorrow. But! My calls messages and everything else, neber ignore it. Or else I might-"

"Yes.. yes I know that" She giggled. Jimin walked to her bed and took a sit beside her bed

"Are you seriously okay with that?" He grabbed her hand and she nodded

"Yep"

"I'll visit you as often as I could okay?"

"Geez Im not a kid. You dont have to force yourself"

"Its just I want to keep you safe. Since the court will be in 3 days"

"Im fine! Seriously!" She smacked his head and laughed

"And oh! Jiminie" The girl called and Jimin couldn't hold his smile when he heard how she call his name. He looks up to her with his sweet smile but it immediately drops when he heard her next word

"Can Jaerim visit tomorrow?"
