16: Fall For Me

"I said no!" Jimin shouted furiously. Even Hyebin was quiet watching her sister fighting with the boy. Ever since that day where Jimin pecked her lips, Haemi became more... rebellious?

"I said I am going out and I do not take a no as an answer" She grabbed her purse and was about to open the door when Jimin stops her

"It is dangerous out there!" He gripped on her wrist and she yanks it away angrily

"I can take care of myself well!"

"No you dont! Your father will do something to you!"

"Look Jimin. He is after Hyebin, not me"

"Do you think I will buy your lie? Everyone know that he is after both of you!"

"Just shut up! I need to go out now!"

"And where will you go?!"

"Meet Jaerim" She smirked and the boy gasped dramatically

"No you are not"

"Oh yes I am. Now move. He needs me RIGHT NOW" She said and pushed Jimin away but he was still stubborn. Not letting his wife go

"Jimin! Let me down!" She shrieked when Jimin carried her bridal style. She was flapping her legs to make him put her down and it worked. He puts her down slowly when they arrived at the stairs and huffed in anger

"If I say you are not going anywhere, then you are not" He said with his deep voice and lifted the girl like a sack of potatoes.

"YAH PARK JIMIN!"

"Hyebin. I'm going to have a talk with your sister. Please pretend nothing happened" He turned around to the little girl and she just nodded obediently

Haemi hits his back multiple times but it did him nothing. It took him about just a minute to go inside their room. Yes. Their room. The one that they used to trick Jimin's father. He then puts her down

"What's your problem?!" She asked furiously when she saw Jimin locking the door

"No. I am the one who is supposed to ask you that. What is your problem?!"

"Jaerim is my bestfriend! What is wrong with that?!"

"Everything is wrong with that! Cant you see him sitting beside you dangerously close and licks his lips whenever you start talking?"

"Hey! Do not badmouth my friend! His lips is always dry you know?!"

"But still! You are someone else's wife now!"

"How about the time you have a girlfriend and you kissed her in public when YOU ARE SOMEONE ELSE'S HUSBAND?!" She shouted in anger and Jimin went quiet.

There was a very long silence after that. A very long one until Jimin sighed and bit his lips

He walks towards the bed and sat there silently making a gush of guilt suddenly rushes to Haemi. She raked her hair and walked towards the bed slowly then sat beside him

"Look.. Im sorry.. I am just stressed out. I have never step out from this house since 2 weeks ago except for the one for the party a week ago and I cant even meet Yeonju. Guess that I took out my anger on you" She bits her lips in guilt

"Can't we just get along? I mean just like other couples out there?" Jimin asked after a long silence

Haemi didnt knew what to reply. She felt bad. Really bad

"Can we live like other married couples out there? I want to feel the love from my spouse too. How we will hug and cuddle the whole day and laugh over something stupid. How we will look at each other and smile because of nothing." He started off

"I want to give you a back hug whenever you start cooking. I want you to scold me for messing the kitchen. I want to kiss you a good morning kiss whenever I wake up. And I want to kiss you a goodnight kiss before you go to sleep. I also want to make you laugh because of something that I do but I just cant cause all I ever do is making you upset" He looks at her with sadness and the girl was speechless

"Jimin. This is why I dont want us to get close at first. Because I know in the end, we will end up being in separate ways. Sorry I used you to get my freedom. I am so sorry but please Jimin remember. I promised to divorce you. You know we cant do that when in the end, both of us will get hurt"

"Haemi yah.. Can we not talk about divorce? I am starting to develop feeling on you but you kept on reminding me about the divorc-"

"That's because I dont want you to like me! I dont want you to have any feelings on me! I dont want you to get hurt later! I dont care how many girlfriends you have JUST GO! Go and flirt with anyone you want but not me" She said desperately

"Do you think it was easy for me? for confessing then you told me to like anyone except you? How about you stop making me fall for you" He said frustratedly and held her hands but the girl just gulped

"I know you will hate me for saying this but. Cha Haemi, you changed me. You showed me how to be strong when everything is messed up. You give me strength and you are always there when I need you. I just want.. the 'Park' will replace your 'Cha' forever. I just want you to be mine forever and ever is it that hard?"

"Please Jimin stop th-"

"CHA HAEMI I LOVE YOU" He shouted angrily "Cant you understand it?!"

"So please. Dont leave me. I need you and I dont think I can live without you. Even thought it has not been a year since we met, I dont think I will get myself together when you are not there with me so please, I love you" He begged. He was crying and Haemi was quiet

"I want us to be together.. forever.."

"Jimin dont do this please I beg you. We need to have a divo-"

The girl was cut off with a kiss from her crying husband. She was frozen. She cant do anything back except for hugging her husband back when she felt some of his tears got on her face

"Why aren't you responding?" He asked heartbrokenly after breaking the kiss. The girl just went quiet and pressed her lips into a thin line

"Haemi-"

"Jimin you listen to me"

"No you listen to me" He demanded

"Give me some time. From today, until a week after your case is closed. I will prove to you that I will be a really good husband. If I fail, then you can leave me"

"Jimin.. A marriage wont work if there is no love between the husband and the wife even though they are good to each other"

"Then I will make you fall for me. You will fall for me so hard until everything that you do reminds you of me"
