Chapter 38

The next morning, Star woke up with little Crow climbing her face meowimg softly. Star giggled and stood up, craddling both kittens to her chest, went to the kitchen.

She sat them done in the box that Sammi and Jinxx brought them in, and got a can of food she and Andy had bought the previous night.  She opened the can, and split the meat between the two in the little food bowls that were also bought the same night.

Crow and Buttercup started crying out loudly because they could see Star making them their breakfast. She chuckled and sat the bowls in the box with them so they could eat.

As they ate in the kitchen, Star went back into the living room. Andy was still fast asleep. She chuckled and carefully crawled on the couch beside him. She looked at his peaceful sleeping face anand smiled. Star leaned closer to him, and kissed his tender kissed softly.

Star sat back and smiled at him aas he opened his eyes and smiled at her. "Bey baby," he said kissing her back.

"Hey," Star giggled.

Andy sat up straight, and stretched out his legs and arms making weird noises as he did so.

Star laughed at this," Please never make those noises out in public."

Andy chuckled," Of course not, babe, thoughs noises are only for to hear, if you know what I mean." He winked.

Star laughed and playfully shoved his shoulder. He laughed," You have to agree that was funny."

Star looked around the living room, then back to Andy. She bit her lip grinning slightly, and whispered, " Maybe..."

"I'm sorry what?" Andy said holding his hand up to her ear pretending he had not heard what she said.

"You heard me," Star laughed standing up.

Age trotted back into the kitchen to check up on the kittens. They were meowing as loud as they could trying to climb their way out of the box. Star giggled at them shaking her head. She lifted them both out of the box, and sat them down on the floor at her feet.

Andy walked into the kitchen ans the kittens instantly darted to him. Star straightened up and looked at him smiling. Andy picked them up, one in each arm, and he chuckled.

"You look so cute when you're holding baby animals," she laughed.

Andy chuckled," Well I'm glad you think so, but I think I'm cuter when you're in my arms."

Andy put the kittens back down in the box, and turned to Star smiling happily. He wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her body closer to his.

"Do you know how much I love you?" he asked her running his hand gently through her hair.

Star smiled softly and sighed," I know it's more then anyone one else ever has."

From what she had said made Andy a little uneasy. He knew she was still facing many of her demons everyday. He just wanted her to know that she was loved and was never alone during her battles. He loved her to much to sit back and watch her suffer that way. "You know I'm always here, right?" he asked softly but sternly.

"I know, Andy. I know. I love you," she answered kissing him softly.

"And I love you so so much," he replied hugging her.

"Meow!!!! Meow!!!" Crow and Buttercup squealed in the box.

Andy and Star turned to the squealing kittens, and chuckled at them trying to get out. They each picked out up. Star was holding Buttercup and Andy had Crow.

"So do you know what you're wearing tonight?" Andy asked scratching gently behind Crow's ear.

"Um... what kind of outfit should I wear?" Star asked leaning against the island.

"Well, I'm wearing shirt and tie, so something nice I would say," He replied.

"Um... okay. I think I have just the perfect thing in mind," Star giggled rubbing the top of Buttercup's fluffy head.

Andy chuckled," Can I see?"

"Uh, no. Sorry, it's a surprise," Star laughed.

"Damn," Andy said pouting.

Star chuckled," So what time are you planning on leaving?"

"Um... Around 5 or 6 I would say," he replied.

"Awesome. Then I'm gonna go take a shower and start getting ready." Star said giving Andy Buttercup pecking him on the cheek, and going went upstairs.
