Proverbs 3:1-3
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them on the table of thine heart.
Interpretation
We are promised blessings for keeping the Lord's commandments and we should hold fast to mercy and truth and to never forget them.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Interpretation
We should trust in the Lord always, and in every situation, rather than depending on our own understanding or view.
Proverbs 3:6-8
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.Interpretation
In all that we do, we should confront GOD FIRST and wait for Him to lead us. We should fear the Lord and flee from evil things, rather than being wise in our own eyes, because it shall be good for us.
