Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
Interpretation
We should obey our father and by doing as He instructed, we will be made knowledgeable. The Lord gives us good rules to life and we should not let go of his laws.
Proverbs 4:14-15
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
Interpretation
We should not follow the evil ways or paths and go not along with evil doers. Resist it, go not by it and divert from it.
Proverbs 4 : 18-19
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
19 The way of the wicked is as darkness, they know not at what they stumble.
Interpretation
The just path is clearer and you see where you are going(spiritually), while the evil is dark, you see not where you go(spiritually).
