I woke up the next morning, and I instantly knew what I was going to do with Peter. After what Peter said yesterday, about deaths happening for a reason, I contemplated for a long time.
"We need to adopt Peter." I said aloud to myself, clambering out of my bed.
I opened my bedroom door and swiftly sped walked into Steve's room. I shut his door behind me and turned on the lights, causing him to wake up. "Ahh... what the h*ll Tony?" He asked.
"We need to adopt Peter." I told him in the most serious tone.
He looked at me dead in the eyes, and I felt a connection. We both knew why I was thinking that. We both knew that her death happened for a reason.
Steve and I called an Avengers meeting.

"What?" Everyone said in surprise when I introduced the subject.
"Don't you think... he'll distract us from our work?" Natasha asked.
"No! Jessica did great. Besides, we can teach him self defense classes just in case!" Clint exclaimed.
"For once Clint, that's not a bad idea." Steve commented. Then he looked around. "Guys, we're the Avengers. We stopped aliens from destroying the earth. We destroyed a robot that controlled tons of other robots. Even after the biggest disagreement and battle we've had in ages, we still made up to each other." He tells everyone. "If a six year old boy can stop us, then that'd just be pitiful."
Everyone nodded.
"Peter needs a home." I said, standing up. "He needs a home fast. And I don't know about you, but I see a future in that kids eyes. I don't want to ruin that future by placing him in the wrong family. But, I think we've found the right one." I declared, looking around.
"I agree." Banner said, standing up. "I've seen how we all treated Peter, how we all look at him in utter adoration. We already treat him like he's our own child, so why not make him ours?"
"There's only one problem." Natasha said, standing up. "Who are we going to register as the parents?"
"I say we should make the two leaders of the Avengers." Thor said.
Everyone looked at Cap and I, and we both blushed.
"Aww, look at the two! They're both practically a couple already." Clint cooed.
"Shut it bird-brain." I snapped, but I was still blushing.
"Well then, it's decided." Steve said after a while.
