Chapter 18

*Max's pov*

Jake:"Max wake up!" He yelled as he shook me.

Me:"What?" I groaned as I looked at him.

Jake:"Do you wanna find your sister or nah?" I sprinted up quickly and ran down to the living room but no one was there.

Jake:"Hold on tiger." I looked behind and saw him coming down the stairs.

Me:"Where are the guys?"

Jake:"The meeting room." He said then started walking towards the room where I followed.

Lucas:"Max! There you are. I think we know who took Jen." He said while I looked around.

Me:"Where's Justin?"

Lucas:"Who?" I rolled my eyes and took a sit.

Me:"The guy who was with me yesterday."

Lucas:"Oh right...Jake go wake him up." Jake groaned but did as told.

After a few minutes Jake came back with a soaked Justin who looked pissed.

Jake:"He wouldn't wake up." He put his hands up for surrender causing us to laugh.

Justin:"Ha ha really funny. I can't stop laughing." He fake laughed then glared at Jake.

Justin:"Imma get you back so you better sleep with one eye open."

Jake:"Yeah yeah whatever."

Me:"Alright enough! Back to business. Lucas." I looked at him and he typed something on the computer before showing me a a file of a man.

Me:"Who is this?"

Jake:"His name is Bruce Santiago. Your dad use to work for him a few years back but Bruce kicked him out after he ruined a mission. A few months after he got kicked out he needed money so he asked Bruce. Bruce made a deal with him and he excepted it. But sadly he died and couldn't pay back and now he wants it back." He explained while I just sat there shocked not knowing what to say.

Justin:"What does Drew has to to with this?"

Lucas:"He works for him. After that dickhead nearly-" I cleared my throat and shook my head signalling to not say it. He got the sign and correct himself.

Lucas:"After Drew got into trouble he ran away and lived on the streets until Bruce found him and took him in. He gave him everything and for a pay back he told Drew to join his gang. Drew didn't like the idea so Bruce threatened him and that's how he's in the gang."

Justin:"What trouble did he get into that he ran away?" Oh shit.

Lucas:"Err...we-we don't know that. It doesn't say." He said and Justin nodded.

Me:"So my dad was a criminal?"
They nodded.

Me:"If he was a criminal how come we didn't know about him?"

Lucas:"Bruce promised your dad that he will be hidden and no one will know about him. He didn't want you guys to find out about him so every time he would go on a mission he would dress in."

Me:"I can't believe this...do you know where Bruce is keeping Jen?"

Lucas:"No...we can't find anything that's why you have to call him and while your speaking James will trace it...."

*Jenifer's pov*

Bruce:"Wake up bitch!" He yelled then I felt a stinging sensation on my left cheek.

Me:"What the fuck?!"

Bruce:"Shut up bitch and listen to me."

Me:"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

Bruce:"Now...we're going to call your stupid brother and tell him that sir Bruce what's his money in 5 hours. Okay precious?" He said speaking to me like I was a freaking baby.

Me:"okay..."

Bruce:"What a good girl you are! But if you dare to say anything out of the blue...we'll have a problem."

Me:"I'm not scared of you!"

Bruce:"Oh but you should. Now let's call your brother..." he took his phone out and dialed a number before putting in on speaker, next to my ear...

*Max's pov*

Lucas:"....and we're going to find him."

As he finished speaking my phone started ringing. I picked it up and saw that it was the blocked number.

Me:"I think it's him."

Lucas:"James get the hacking computer-"

James:"I already have it." He cut him of then took the computer from under the table.

Lucas:"Alright pick it up and talk to him for at least 1 minute." I nodded and picked it up putting it on speaker.

Me:"Hello?" I said and carefully walked over to James.

Jenifer:"Max! Max it's me!" All of their heads snapped up and Lucas and Justin ran over to me.

Me:"Jen! Jen baby girl are you okay? Did he do anything to you? Where are you?"

Jen:"I'm fine Max don't worry but i don't know where I am..Max please safe me." She started crying causing me to squeeze my eyes shut.

Me:"Don't worry baby girl I'm gonna safe you trust me okay? Where are you? You have to help me."

Jenifer:"I-I don't know. It's dark it's just a little light but Max he says to bring the money in 5 hours or else he...he will k-kill m-me." She sobbed. God dammit.

Max:"Don't worry baby girl don't worry I will safe you okay?"

Jenifer:"Max-ahhh!" She screamed while a slapping sound was heard.

Me:"What the fuck is going on?! Jenifer! Are you there?! Jen!"

Bruce:"You heard what she said. You have 5 hours to bring my money or else she's dead."

Me:"You motherfucker don't you dare touch her!" I yelled then Justin snapped the phone out of my hand.

Justin:"Listen. Touch her one more time and we're going to have a serious problem. We will bring your stupid money but don't touch her or else your dead!" He yelled into the phone before hanging up.

Me:"We have to hurry up! Did you find him?" I looked over to James.

James:"One second...and...done." he showed me the screen that showed a red dot.

Me:"Alright let's go!..."
