THE NEXT DAY NIKKI and her parents came to visit. Her parents are like parents to me so it was nice to see them.

'so how is it going?' Naomi asked me, Nikki's mom.

Naomi is sweet and strong. she's a lawyer and you could say a lot of people are afraid of her. she's basically the opposite of my mom, which makes them a perfect team together.

'good, nothing really changed. I am just tired and I really need my 3 PM nap' I laugh

'good, and how are chemo's' Patrick asks, Nikki's dad.

Patrick is one of those country boys. He's tall and you never see him without anything flannel. Niki even told me he has a flannel boxer short. Patrick is sweet and funny, he can always make you laugh.

'good, I only had one, tomorrow is the second' I smile

'are you loosing hair yet?' Nikki who laid next to me on my bed asked

'nope'

'and have you made any friends?' Naomi asked again

'yes, actually, I have. My neighbor' I pointed at the wall where Jack's room is behind.

'he also has cancer?' Nikki asks

'yeah, he also has Leukemia. He's really nice and funny. He also like movie's, a lot' I dream away a bit

'boyfriend material' Nikki asks

'what- no' I say and she laughs

'well I have a joke' Patrick smirked

'oh dad please no' Nikki wines

'Patrick come on' Naomi moaned

'oh fun' I smiled

'a small boy swallowed some coins, his grandmother phoned the hospital and asked the nurse how he was doing and guess what's he replied' he keeps smirking

'doesn't matter, their funny' I said while laughing

'see, Ava likes them' Patrick points at me

'ava likes everything' Nikki rolls her eyes and I hit her shoulder

'well what do you not like then?' she raises an eyebrow

she nods 'okay but he's the most hateble person ever'

'why?' Naomi asked

'well basically he got really mad at me for not coming to the game because I had a doctors appointment. He even got so mad that he wanted to hit me but his friend stopped him. Then Tuesday I said that we should break up and he was all like "I can't live without you". but then I told him I had leukemia and then he just said "never mind" because apparently a cancer-girl isn't worth loving or something' I explained

'okay he's the most hateble person ever' Naomi nodded

'and when he said that Ava was an attention whore I hit him in the jaw' Nikki say proud

'that's my girl' her dad giver her and advise

'how many times do I have to say that hitting someone won't solve everything' Naomi wines
