'SO YOU SING' MISSY smirks when she sits next to me

'only when I'm alone and believe me it's not that good' I tell her.

I was sitting on the couch they put in my room, reading a book when Missy came in.

'chatty tells me otherwise' she smiles

He talks about me?

'what do you mean?' I ask not able to stop the smile that if forming my lips 

'I talked with him yesterday and he told me that you where really good' she sat next to me on the couch

'he talks about me' I frown and she nods

'a lot' she adds

'okay' I cough 'well I don't sing for anyone so if you where going to ask that' I take a dramatic pause 'no' I smile

'I wasn't going to ask that' she smiles

'that why did you came here?' I put my book away

'you know it's now November and you will be here with Christmas' she told me and I nodded. I wish I could go home but I will still be busy with the chemo's so I let that wish sail.

'every year we have the winter dance. It just like a school dance but only at the hospital. We throw it because a lot of kids here miss the real winter dances. So my question was if you wanted to come'

'of course I want to come' I say excitedly

'really' she smiles big

'I love dances' I give her a hug

'good because we-' she stopped when she went with her hand through my hair.

'what' I reached to my hair. When I pulled my hand back I had a whole strand of hair in my hand.

'your chemo is working' Missy grabbed my hand

'I will be bald' I look up.

I knew this was going to happen but it still sucks. Now I will be definitely looked weird at.

'yeah' she grabbed my face 'but bald is the new cool'

I chuckled my tears that where pricking behind my eyes away.

'so most people cut their har short when they are balding. Than the change isn't as shocking as it normally is'

'you know what' I grab her hands 'why not shave it off immediately, than there will be no change at all' I smile

'maybe I should be calling you badass instead of sunshine' she gave me a kiss on my cheek

'I like Sunshine better' I smile

'wait I need to tell Jack' I stand up

'you two are inseparable, aren't you?' Missy smiles

'he's my friend, accept it' I shrug and then walk to his room

'say hello to the most badass queen on earth' I say when I open his door

'why so sassy' he laughs. He is siting on his bed, reading the same book as me.

'I was just reading that book' I laugh

'cool' he puts the book away

'but why are you the most badass queen on earth' he stands up

'I am going to shave my head' I say while pointing in my head

His jaw drops 'you weren't wrong'

'I'm never wrong now are you going to help or not?' I asked him and he jumped off his bed

'jack Russel to the rescue' he says in a very low voice

'you're an idiot' I laugh and we walk to my room

'so I have everything ready' Missy says

'can I do it' Jack asks when I sit in the chair

'I don't know if I can trust you' I narrow my eyes

'you can so, can I do it?' he asks again and I nod

'okay here we go' he puts the shaving machine to my head and moves it smooth to the back of my head

'oh my' I gasp as my hair falls on the ground

'you are amazing' Ellie comes in my room

'you're the first one to ever do this' Missy grabs my hand

'the first and the best' I make a weird face making everyone laugh

'and the weirdest' Jack keeps shaving my head until all my hair is gone.

'this is cool' I say as I feel it

'wait we have to kiss it, it's tradition' Ellie gives a kiss on my bald head.

'what, please explain?' I chuckle as the other 2 also give a kiss on my head

'whenever anyone gets bald because of the chemo we kiss their head because we are proud of them, it started off as a joke but now it's tradition' Ellie explained and I laughed

'that's cool' I turn around and give all three a hug. My hug with Jack is a bit weird but I just ignore that.

'now I only need hats and beanies' I say

'you can borrow one of mine' Jack suggests

'yes because this is cold' I point at my head

'tell me' Jack points at his head which is covered in a  beanie

'Nikki is coming tomorrow, we can shop for hats online' I mumble in myself

'that's an amazing idea' Ellie puts her arm around me

'proud of you sunshine' Missy also puts her hand around me

'we can also order a wig for you' Ellie says

'really?' I look up to her since she's really tall

'yeah, it's from human hair. What sort do you want?' Missy asks

'one that looks like my old hair' I point at the ground which is covered in hair.

'I have 3 options' Jack comes back in the room

'black, black or black' he hold sup 3 beanies

'well that's really a tuff choice' I say sarcastically

'here' he gives me one and I put it on

'you are so not like the rest of the world' Jack mumbles

'no one ever made a difference by being like everyone else' I smiled
