Having Morgan on your scrimmage team
Today's practice had been very relaxed and laid back. Instead of back to back cardio sessions, Jill decided to let the team do a full 11 v 11 scrimmage. Carli and Becky got picked as captains and began picking players for their team.
"Y/N." Carli said as you gave her a thumbs up. Becky looked over at Lloyd, "You stole my favorite rookie." She looked back at the rest of the team before speaking. "Mal, you're with me."
You mentally praised God for not being picked on the same scrimmage team as your ex girlfriend.
"Brian, you're on my team."
You looked over at the midfielder and grinned; your best friend and prank buddy was on your team.
"We've got this game. We are gonna win." Morgan said as she sat down next to you. You nodded and smiled again, "Yeah, because we have the dynamic duo on the team."
The blonde gave you two thumbs up and smiled as well.
