Chapter 2 - the visit

I knocked on a house which I believed to be jades, I pray to god it's jades I'd feel embarrassed if an old man was to answer the door and scream in my face chasing me off his path. A young quite pretty woman answers the door "hello darling, you looking for jack?". Oh no, wrong house. I don't know any jacks. "Erm no sorry I was looking for a jade, she's the pregnant one do you know where she might live?" I reply wondering who this jack may be. "Oh yeah darling jades my daughter do you want to come in an wait for her?". "Oh no it's okay I'll just wait out here for her". "Are you kidding?" She didn't really say it sarcastically but I knew it wasn't a question for me to answer. "It's freezing you'll catch your death out here dear you'll have to come in don't want any frozen bodies on my step" she chuckles an grabs my shoulder guiding me into her living room as if she was a blind woman and I was her guide dog. "Just wait here she's getting dressed she should be down in a minute", I nod and exam the room it's quite big with a few baby things all packed up an not open. I believe it's all the baby's things so I read one of the boxes then jump out of my skin not realising someone was behind me, I heard a deep voice which sounded quite sexy, this defiantly not jades voice so I spun on my heels an starred at this figure in front of me. "Hello, I didn't mean to scare you and erm who are you?". " I wasn't scared an I'm lauren I'm jades friend" I stutter while saying this breathing in his amazing scent. "Oh jades my sister" Sister? He's her brother? I didn't know she had any brothers. "Oh hi? Erm? I didn't catch your name." He giggled " that's because I didn't tell you jacks the name, your face looks familiar I can't think from where though?" I thought the exact same thing when I starred at him but then I realised I was looking into his big blue eyes an not replying, he must think I'm strange talk Lauren talk ! God damn it lauren speak will you! "Yeah I thought the same of you but am not so sure are you in jades school too?" "Yeah an that's where I know your face from your in my year I walk past you all the time I've seen you four years but I've never spoke to you". Oh and by the way jades not In my year she's a lot older than me. He just starred at me do you know if he wasn't my mates brother I would seriously jump on him, he is just absolutely perfect. His eyes glisten I could of swore when I looked in them I seen stars. He smirked an his cheeky smile made me blush, I blushed a lot he is literally perfect. Jade walks into the room "well don't you two look cosy". Jack looks shocked at what she's said an steps abit further away from me "no I just thought she was a stranger walking into our house and I recognised her face". Jade smirks "whatever jack, Emma's just rang me she's on her way". I smile at jack an then look away. Emma? Who's Emma? Family? I hope. He smiles and blushes "I told her to stop ringing you she is to cute to stay mad at though". Cute? He wouldn't calm family cute oh god he either has a crush or even worse he's with her. I smile but inside I'm disappointed I actually really like the look of this lad, and I adore his cheeky smirk but he's with someone so that means I'm out the picture. What am I talking about I was never in the picture this boy doesn't know me an he would hate me anyway my constant mood swings, my not so flat stomach, my long horrible brown coloured hair which has a lot of split ends. I never had a chance, I stare at jade and smile. "Come on let's go" I say sounding quite disappointed.
