Home Sweet Home

It's been a month since I had gone to Alaska and lived with the Denali Coven, I had left all of my electronic devices in my room back in Forks. I had good control around humans...some of them anyways. When I couldn't I left the room,

"Artemis...it's time." said Irina

I smiled at her gently, we got close during our time together. Despite with what happened with Laurent. I walked down stairs, Alice hugged me tightly once I stepped down the stairs.

"I missed you! Charlie has been searching everywhere for you. People volunteered to help. Even your boyfriend-" she started

"He's not my boyfriend." I hissed

She just giggled,

"Are you ready to come home?" Jasper asked

Eleazar smiles gently and nodded, he had promised to keep my gift a secret. After all, we don't want the Volturi to come. I left with them, they scolded me and some other things that normally would happen if they did actually find me.

Alice and Jasper were walking right behind me, Emmett had his arm wrapped around my shoulder. Just so I won't run, Charlie, Bella, the rest of the Cullen's, The Pack, and some other people were there too. Some of Dad's co workers, and people who I assumed helped with the search.

Once Emmett let go, I went to make a break for it but Charlie pulled me into a tight Hug, Bella hugged me next. I got hugs, and scoldings by everyone...except for the pack. Seth went to hug me, and shook his head and ran to me. Hugging me tightly, Sam let out a low growl at him. I glared at Sam, he probably Alpha commanded them not to touch me,

"It was for their safety, good to see you've got self control." Edward muttered so only the supernatural could hear.

"We're talking about this when we get home." said Charlie

I let go of Seth, and grumbled as I went into the backseat of a police car. I wasn't really looking forward to this,

When we got home, we did talk...Bella was there too. So was Billy, Sam, Sue, Carlisle, and Elder Quil. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially since I was basically in loads of trouble for running away. They finally let me talk, and I said what was practiced.

"Because I was done being ignored. The people I stayed with didn't ignore me, and I didn't even think anyone would care...or notice. I didn't..." I muttered

I grabbed Bella's hand and gave it a lightly squeeze, she squeezed it back. I kept my head down, the original plan was to run up to my room and make it seem like I was crying...but, because of my gift. I looked up at them, they all seemed surprised...except for Charlie, who frowned.

"I didn't want to be the shadow anymore, I didn't want to be the one who no one cared about. I felt all I was ever good for was protecting Bella. That that was all I was created for! That's what everyone asked of me. 'Keep Bella Safe' 'Watch After Bella' 'Take Care of Bella'! That's all I ever heard from people...hell, when I tried to off myself, the only one who ever spoke to me about it afterwards was Phil! He tried to call everyday, or at least text me!" I choked out, crying

Bella pulled me into a tight embrace, she was crying too. Sue joined in on the hug,

"I'm so sorry" Bella choked out, crying too

I hugged her a little tighter and breathed a little, I sucked in a breathe, she smelled good. She tensed a bit,

"Why don't we give them a minute," Billy told Charlie

The two went in the kitchen with Elder Quil, Sue let go and Carlisle put his hand on my shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"We are all very sorry," said Carlisle

"Yeah...I got that from Alice." I said

They all left, so it was just me, Bella and Charlie. I knew Edward was in Bella's bedroom and Emmett and the others were outside. Along with the wolves, I could smell them.

"First. You're grounded. You're not allowed to be alone, I don't want you to be alone. At all, even when you're asleep." said Charlie

"Understandable." I nodded

"Family dinner every Tuesday and Friday. At 8, unless I'm busy. Or, it's to go on the Res." said Charlie

"So...no Cullen's?" I said

"No." he said

I nodded, Bella squeezed my hand, she smiled at me gently. He made a few more rules, no sharp objects, or medicine. Unless Carlisle gives it to me, now to just see how long this'll last for.
