Chapter 9 - Late night drive

Isabelle's POV

I sat in the car for almost 2 hours.
I didn't know where to go and I didn't have enough money for a hotel.
I wanted to drive back home, but I was also very tired and wanted sleep.

I sighed as Grayson never came out.

Maybe he was using me.

I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that he has a girlfriend...and it was
my ex best friend.

I got snapped out of my thoughts when someone tapped on my window.

I looked over seeing Ethan.

I rolled down the window.

"What do you want Ethan?"

I asked quietly sighing looking down at my lap.

"Scoot over, I'm going to take you somewhere."

Ethan said smiling opening the car door.

I was confused as to where he was going to take me, but I scooted over anyways.

Once I was situated in the passengers seat, Ethan got into the drivers seat starting the car.

He backed out as he started driving.
I don't know where, but the drive there was so beautiful.

Seeing the beautiful beaches and everything else.

He started to play music quietly off of his phone as we started to sing and jam out to it.

I laughed at Ethan's silly dance moves.

He's honestly really cute.

I shook my head at that thought,
although it was true,
my heart was still set on Grayson.

My mind started roaming again with everything that happened with Grayson and our late night conversations we've had.

I was so deep into my thoughts that I didn't realize we have arrived at Ethan's mystery spot.

I got of the car as we were on a hill in the middle of no where.

"Ethan, where are we?"

I asked as I looked over at him, yet he was walking away.

I hurried over to him as he chuckled.

"Just wait a second."

Ethan spoke softly as we walked into a forest.

I started to get nervous as I still didn't know that much about Ethan.
