CONGRATULATIONS! I know I might have disturbed your dinner right now but I hope you know that I'm proud of you.

Normally, he would've replied a curt 'thank you' but the person who sent the message didn't happen to be someone he normally sees in his life so he just put back his phone to the pocket of the slacks he's wearing without responding.

After the graduation ceremony, they decided to go to this fine dining restaurant located exactly at the top of Claridel Hotel. Fortunately, his sister happened to book a table reservation several weeks ago just for his graduation celebration —which he suggested to be just a simple family dinner.

"Are you okay?" masusing tanong ng ate niya.

"Yeah. Of course, kailangan ko lang ng kunting katahimikan kasi halos buong araw nasa maingay akong environment," he said that half-meant, because as much as those words are true, he also just wanted a peace of mind to calm himself about his mother's text message...and her audacity to show up to his graduation.

Looking back, the first time Beau developed his dilemma if relationship are meant to last forever was when he was an immature 16-year-old.

With a gleeful smile on his lips eager to see his mother after 3 years, he tiptoed his way to his father's office where his parents usually hang out in their house.

"And when are you planning to file our annullment?" kalmado at pormal na tanong ni Atty.

"Can we make it earlier than six months?" desperado ang tono ni Mrs. Pavia —o hindi na pala.

Atty. Pavia sighed heavily and Beau is pretty sure  he is drinking coffee at the moment, "I don't think six months is possible, I mean, nasa Pilipinas tayo and considering I am handling a big case right now that might undergo for months. Baka legal separation muna ang maiaalok ko."
