Why Can't We?

12~ It gets better, sometimes

Days, weeks and months had passed.

I couldn't contact her. We couldn't meet because our schedules never overlapped. And it's just frustrating because she misunderstood stuff.

"Yah! Sungjae-ah" Changsub hyung shouted

"What are you thinking? I keep on calling you but you don't seem to notice me" he said

"Aniyo. Just tired hyung" i said to him

"Tired of what? Thinking about her?" He asked teasingly

I just stayed silent and laughed sadly. Changsub hyung know me that's why I can't deny that fact.

"Don't worry maknae. You can talk to her again because we will be guesting in the Sugarman where she is the host right? And you can see her and fix everything" I just nod and

"MWO?! We will be seeing her?" I just realized and I could hear Changsub hyung laughing at me

"You don't really listen right?" Changsub hyung said laughingly

Finally I can talk to her.

"Sooyeong-ah take care of yourself while we are gone. Arraso?" Wendy unnie said being a mother again

"Ne unnie" I said while giving them a hug

They are going to North Korea to perform and sadly I can't come because of my own schedule. And I will be alone here in the dorm for days.

"BTOB Blue will be our guest and we will pre record tomorrow. So I hope you can all come" Sugarman PD-nim said

So I have no choice but to see him. Aish. Jinjja sometimes life doesn't go with me.

Next day

I arrived at the set earlier than the other host because I have no prior schedules and I feel so lonely at the dorm.

I was preparing in my dressing room when I heard several laughter and of course I know who owns those beagles laugh, no other than BTOB.

I was so nervous because after months I get to see him again after ignoring him. My manager suddenly snapped me out of my daydream

"Joy! We need you to be done after 10 minutes. The recording will start soon" My manager said and left the dressing room

After a few minutes I was done and suddenly the door opened and

"Sooyeong-ah" Gash. That voice. I miss that.

"Why did you ignored and avoided me for months?" He asked making me look at his curious eyes

"It's nothing. We gotta go. The recording will start soon" I said coldly

"So? I'll leave the show if you don' talk to me now" The heck. What kind of threat is that?

"I don't care. It's not my problem" I said walking away

"Please Sooyeong-ah. Talk to me" He said almost crying and hugging me from behind

And that made the trick. He knows that I'm too soft whenever he does that.

"Ya! Stop crying. My co-host might think I did something to you" I said slapping his shoulder

"Well you did actually. You ignored me and that's why I cried." He said while pouting.

While I wiped his tears one of my co-host entered and saw what I was doing

"Is there any problem here?" He asked

"Aniyo. He just cried because of laughing. He's crazy." I said giving Sungjae a look

"So you two are really close?" He asked again

"Ne Sunbae" I answered

"Arraseo. I should get going now. The recording will start soon" He reminded us.

"We will be there" I answered as he smiled at us

"Yah! Fix your eyes. Don't make it puffy. Such an aegi. Why did you cry?" I said while slapping his arm and flicking his forehead

"For you to notice me and give your attention" he answered

"Let's go now. They are waiting for us" I said pulling him out the dressing room

Can this guys stop being adorable? He is making me fall even more. But I can't do it, he still like someone else.

The recording went well, especially me and Sooyeong-ah are back on being close after months of avoiding. In the recording we were teased as we got married couple and of course I have to tell that we don't really have a communication which was true on the few months.

I invited her to some dinner. A little celebration for our comeback.

"Oppa. I'm tired. Let's just have a delivery at your apartment" She said whining at me

"Why at my apartment?" I asked

"I'm all alone at the dorm. They are all at North Korea" She said sadly

"Hey, cheer up! Let's go and order everything you want" I said to her to make her smile

"JINJJA?! LET'S GO!" She said pulling me while jumping around.

This girl makes me happy. Yes. I like her. I just can't find the right time to tell her because I'm afraid that this relationship that we have right now might be destroyed because of my feelings.

We went to my apartment and ordered some food and had some drinks.

"Oppa. You know what" she said knowing that she is close to being drunk

"What?" I said laughing at her face

"Why are you so good-looking? Jinjja that's why your ex-girlfriend keeps on chasing you" she said murmuring while drinking some more beer

"Sooyeong-ah stop drinking" I said while getting away the beer from her

"Aniyo. Oppa!" She said while grabbing the drink from me

After minutes of grabbing the drink she finally fell asleep like an angel when her phone suddenly rang

"Chanyeol?" I said while looking at her phone.

The phone stopped ringing and then a message came.

"Joyiah where are you? Why are you not answering? I just wanted to ask if you are free tomorrow"

Right. That guy wanted to ask her out. Wait, are they dating now?! Aniyo. This can't be. Because I'm selfish enough to keep Sooyeong just for me I deleted the message and the missed call history.

"Am I too late?" I asked to her angelic sleeping face.
