"So let me get this straight" Derek was trying to get his head around what Noah and Melissa had just told them "You want us" he directed towards himself and his siblings "To stay with you guys until our mum wakes up? Am I correct?"

"Yes you are" Stiles said coming into the room

"Bloody hell, your like a ghost, you just pop up out of nowhere" Derek said whilst everyone else laughed

"Derek can we?" Thomas faced Derek asking his permission

"I mean I'd say no, but we don't have anywhere else to go to be totally honest" Derek told Thomas "Are you sure? I don't wanna intrude on your family"

"It's no hassle what so ever" Noah said

"Exactly, anyways this way we'll have another girl in the house right?" Melissa said looking at Noah

"Right, so do you two wanna come home with us tonight, you'll have to stay in the hospital for at least a night Derek, sorry" Noah said

"It's fine, anyways it's totally up to you and them. I'd rather not let them out of my sight again but if they get a good night's sleep in a proper bed then I'd be happy" Derek said looking down at Cora who had fell asleep in his arms

"I don't wanna leave you" Thomas whispered

"Your not leaving me okay, it's just if you go you'll be safe, and warm" Derek told him

"I'm scared" Thomas admitted

"Of what?" Derek asked

"Dad" Thomas simply stated

"Hey, dad isn't coming anywhere near you or Cora ever again okay. I am always gonna be here for you guys, and I'm always, always gonna keep you guys safe, remember that" Derek said "Remember. We're Always"

"Safe" Thomas said

"Together" Cora said as she woke up

"Exactly" Derek smiled

"Is it just me who feels like we've intruded on a family moment" Stiles said and everyone just looked at him "What?!?!"

2 days later
"You ready to see your new home?" Melissa asked helping Derek get up off the bed

"Yeah I think so" Derek thought for a second "Can I just go and say goodbye to my mum quickly?" he asked

"Take as long as you need sweetheart, I'll be right here when you need me" Melissa smiled at him

Derek made his way down the halls of the hospital, he knew exactly which way to go because in the last two day stuck in this hospital he's been to visit his mum like 20 times. He got to the room his mum has been put in, he turns the handle and walks in. The condition his mum is in is never easy to see, she has a tube in her mouth helping her breath, she has a neck brace after what that dick did to her and her arm is in a sling from her dislocated shoulder, she has a bandage all around her head, and her face is full of cuts and bruises, and her right eye and lip are swollen.

"Hey mum, I'm back again, did you miss me, cause I sure missed you" Derek said sitting in the chair beside the bed taking his mothers hand in his "I'm gonna go live with those people I told you about last night, Melissa told me that Thomas and Cora can't wait to see me, which I don't understand since their here everyday, but who am I to blame them right?" Derek asked "Their saying we can go to school next week too, Cora's exited as usual, Thomas still isn't a big fan of the whole thing. But don't worry I'll get him there somehow. But me, I don't know what to feel about the whole thing. I guess I'm just scared you know, I don't know what I'm scared of exactly, I just know that I am, and I don't know what to do about it" Derek smiled imagining his mother saying something like 'Is it because of someone you've met?' And his mother would catch him smiling and instantly start interrogating him. So Derek just imagined his mother was actually involved in the conversation and went along with it. "It might be, not sure"

"Now you have to tell me" his mum's voice sounded in his head

"I met him the other day, he's the son of the man I'm staying with until you wake up"

"Are you saying that you are gonna be under the same roof as a boy that you like, and I can't do anything about it. What's his name?" His mother demanded

"His names Stiles" Derek laughed

"Stiles? That's a very peculiar name" she said

"It's a one of a kind" Derek told her "I'm guessing it's just a nickname, but who knows right"

"So...?" his mother asked and when Derek just stared at her she elaborated "Is he cute or what I wanna know, and don't 'muuum' me just tell me"

Derek waited a second before he spoke
"The cutest"

"Then I say go for it, but get to know him first before jumping right into it, that ended up being my problem, and look where that got me, in a coma in a hospital bed, which is not very comfy might I add" Talia jokes

"Must you joke mum?" Derek asked

"It's all I have left kiddo" she smiled "I'm kidding, now go and get your man"

Derek stood up but turned around at that but when he did the image that he saw of his mum when he first walked in was back but he still smiled to himself. He's gonna use the advice his mum gave him, her advice always seemed to work.

The second Derek stood foot in the house he had two pair of arms around his waist, he bent down to hug his siblings, it was kinda hard considering one of his arms was put in a sling.

"Hey man, you look better" Stiles said patting Derek's back once he stood back up, Derek smiled at him "Oh, this is Lydia and Allison" he said directing to the two girls that were behind him

"Hi, it's nice to meet you" they both said

"You too"

"Come join us, we're watching movies" Scott called plonking himself down on the sofa

"Derek" Cora said looking down

"Yeah?" Derek asked turning around to look at her

"I don't have wolfie" she said innocently
