"Michael really did all that to you?", they were all in the living room and Jacob had just explained to his family what happened to him from the moment their father shot him, through his kidnapping, until now. Jacob nodded but also smiled down at his new baby brother who he was holding in his arms "J, I'm so sorry" Derek said

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault" Jacob said

"I know but if I had gotten T, and Cora downstairs faster-"

"Who knows what would have happened, but it was not your fault so stop blaming yourself, you did nothing wrong" Jacob said "Besides if we did get away then this little guy wouldn't be here" he smiled down at Luca running his hand over his growing hair "Oh that reminds me, where's mum?" Jacob got exited

"Jacob-" Derek sighed

"Where is she Derek?" Jacob cut Derek off

"Mummy is taking a long nap" Cora said innocently

"She's in a coma?" Jacob asked understanding what his sister meant by 'nap', "For how long?"

"A few months now, ever since Luca was born" Derek said

"How?" Jacob asked

"Dad found us after we ran away" Thomas said

"Where is he?" Jacob asked voice laced with anger

"He um....he's-" Jacob looked at Derek waiting for an answer "He's dead" Jacob let out a sigh of relief of some sorts "Are you okay?" Derek asked as Jacob didn't say anything, he took a breath before answering

"Weirdly I am" Jacob said "I don't know how to explain it"

"That's how I felt when I found out, I felt that I should feel grief but I didn't, it was weird" Derek said

"Derek can I um....can I speak to you for a second?" Jacob asked

"Yeah, come with me" Derek said standing up

"Here let me take him" Stiles said taking Luca out of Jacob's arms so he could go talk with Derek

"What is it?" Derek asked once they were in the other room out of hearing distance from the others, Jacob just crossed his arms and smiled "What?" he asked again

"You got a boyfriend" Jacob sang poking Derek in his side, Derek hit his hand away whilst telling him to 'Quit it'

"We find out you're alive after a year and you wanna talk about my boyfriend" Derek said

"So he is your boyfriend" Jacob said lifting his eyebrow

"We haven't talked about it really, it just kind of happened" Derek said

"Since when?"

"Yesterday I guess" Derek shrugged his shoulders

"And your already calling each other cute names, how sweet" Jacob said

"Can we not talk about me" Derek said

"And what you wanna talk about me?" Jacob asked

"You just came back from the dead you doofus" Derek punched him in the shoulder

"Technically speaking I never died, medically speaking.....well that's for another time, right now I wanna spend my time with my family, the people that I love, and have missed so much" he said placing both hands on Derek's shoulders

"I missed you too" Derek smiled

6 hours later

"What do you mean your going?" Derek stood up when Jacob did

"I mean I booked a motel room, James and Ben are already there" Jacob said

"You can't go you just got here" Cora said

"Hey I'll be back tomorrow okay, I promise" he said kissing her on the forehead "I love you" he whispered to her

"Love you too" she said back as they hugged

"Don't die, please" Thomas joked as he hugged Jacob

"I'll try not to little brother" Jacob laughed as he held onto Thomas

"I think some people feel a bit left out over here" Derek said as he held Luca in his arms

"How could I forget about you" Jacob spoke in his baby voice that he developed since he saw Luca, he gave Luca a kiss on the head before looking up at Derek "I don't think baby brother suits you anymore since there's actually a baby now" Jacob said laughing

"Yeah" Derek laughed "Come here" he said pulling Jacob in for a hug with one of his arms being careful with Luca in the other "You promise to go straight to the motel, no stops along the way"

"I promise" he said pulling back and looked at his siblings "Well I better be leaving, see you soon" he said walking towards the front door, he smiled at them before exiting and walking towards the taxi he'd called a while back

"Where to kid?" The driver asked once Jacob was in his seat and closed the door, Jacob looked towards the house to see his family watching from the window, he smiled at the sight then looked forward at the driver
