You fixed your sleeve, which had been bugging you the whole walk over here. Somehow it keeps finding all the ways to flip itself inside out. You knocked on the door and waited. This was Matt's house. Matt, being a very close friend to you, offered you to come and visit today. He mentioned about how he would've went to pick you up in his car to save time and the hassle of having to walk here and back, but of course that plan was foiled due to the fact he doesn't have a car, and probably can't even drive in the first place. Not even a minute later, you can hear the door handle jiggle and twist, opening the door into Matt's home. Behind the wooden layer called a door, was Matt. A smile clear across his face and shining eyes, always happy to see you as you were always happy to see him. He was wearing his classic purple hoodie, and not far behind him was the coat rack, which held on one hook his green overcoat. One of his hands rested still on the doorknob, while the other loosely held on to a mirror. A mirror. You impulsively took a step back from him, eyeing the mirror with widened eyes. Matt's usual smile faded from his face, forming into a frown. "F/N? What's wrong?" He gasped and raised his mirror to look at his face, "OH NO! IS THERE SOMETHING ON MY FACE?!" You tried calming yourself down, stepping back towards him, "N-no. You're oka-ay. Look, let's just go inside and hang out, now." You pushed him in and shut the door behind you. He replied with a sigh of relief and jumped onto the couch, setting down the mirror and replacing it with the TV remote. You sat next to him and rested your head in your hand, staring at the mirror on the table.

The sun was now disappearing over the land so you explained how you should start heading back home before it got too late. He agreed that was probably the best idea and so he frowned. The whole time you were here, you had your eyes planted on the mirror on the table. Matt gave you a friendly hug and you left. Halfway back home and that mirror still haunted your thoughts. The secrets mirrors held behind that reflective layer were dangerous; it was only a matter of time before the mirrors released their evil upon the world.
