I rubbed my eyes tiredly as I shuffled into the bathroom. I was tired but today was moving day and I already had to deal with Sean in the early morning. I huffed as I remembered how he basically annoyed me for the picture I shall not speak of.
I turned on the sink and splashed the cold water into my face. Tryna wake myself up because nobody needs me knocked the fuck while driving. I stretched a little bit before shuffling back into my room. Why the fuck didn't I put all my boxes inside my fucking truck last night? This would've have allowed me to sleep more. I rolled my eyes. Why am I so fucking slow?
My mom sat on the bed with a lopsided sleepy grin "Would you like some help Monte?" I declined that was my mom right there and I wasn't going to let her sleepy self help me carry out boxes. Imma man I can handle this.
"Whatever boy. I'm helpin. I ain't wake up at 7 am just fo' your ass to decline my assistance"My mom rolled her eyes before grabbing to boxes. "And I ain't doing this shit by myself so you better move your ass boy"
Why am I surprised? That's my mama for crying out loud. I sighed before grabbing boxes. "Yeah okay mom"
It's crazy how I've always been waiting for this day and after 19 years I get to experience moving out. But when my day finally came it's like I'm not even trying to leave anymore. Damn I'm going to miss my plain ass room. Basically my whole childhood...
After we finished packing up my boxes we sat at the island in the kitchen while my mom basically sobbed like I just died and my dad comforted her. "Mom why are you even crying you wanted me out"I laughed.
"I know! But I didn't think I wouldn't regret my words this much"She pouted as she wiped her eyes. "I can't believe you're actually leaving."
"I can't stay forever"I looked at my phone "It's 2 right now mom and dad I should really get going."
Mom hiccups before giving me a hug Dad awkwardly joining in.
After that I drove away from home.
