The car door opens to reveal a large crowd of Auradonians, is that a word? I don't know but I'm going to use it anyway, with a large group playing the awful tune (that I heard while driving here) with large, strange golden objects while a young man wearing a blue and yellow suit and an enthusiastic grin and a young woman wearing a pink dress with a slightly less enthusiastic grin stand in front of the group. I step out of the car first, followed by Mal. We both hear the small gasps from the crowd and smirk at each other. We exchange a look and glare at the crowd with narrow eyes to intimidate them, it could have worked if Evie hadn't stepped out of the car with a huge grin as she looked at the castle and if the boys hadn't fell out of the car while fighting over a blanket. I roll my eyes again. Grand entrance ruined. Thanks guys.

"Stop! You got everything else! Why do you want whatever this is?" Carlos screams, pulling on the blanket as if his life depends on it.

"'Cause you want it!" Jay grunts, tugging on the other side of the blanket. Wow. Real mature Jay. The fight continues for another few seconds before Mal interrupts

"Guys! We have an audience." she hisses causing both boys to look up at the large crowd, Carlos' eyes open wide in embarrassment and Jay's eyes soften and a large grin spreads across his face

"Just cleaning up." he says happily and possibly sarcastically, I laugh at the idea of Jay cleaning and earn a glare from a middle aged woman wearing a blue dress

"Leave it like you found it!" the same woman sings, "And by that, I mean just leave it." she says more sternly. Jay throws the blanket back into the car and turns back to face us but spots the girl in the pink dress, he looks her up and down greedily

"Hello foxy, the name's Jay." he says seductively, well what he thinks is seductive at least, the girl laughs awkwardly and wraps her arm around the boy in the blue and yellow suit. There's an awkward silence for a few seconds before the middle aged woman clears her throat

"Welcome to Auradon prep. I'm fairy godmother, headmistress." she announces, my eyes widen and I look at the others and see they've all had the same reaction

"The fairy godmother?" I ask

"As in, "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo"?" Mal continues.

"Bibbidi-bobbidi. You know it." she says happily, I think she might be liking the attention we're giving her, it's not everyday you find out that the kids from the Isle of the Lost know who you are.

"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile. And that sparkling wand." Mal says, hoping to gather information. Yeah Mal, 'cause she's going to tell us it's exact location and hand it over to us, us, of all people.

"That was a long time ago. And as I always say, "don't focus on the past or You'll miss the future."" she smiles

"well, you see, our past is a bit hard to not focus on, you know, the whole thing where we were trapped on an island with people who you adults couldn't even handle, our past involved fighting for survival at age 2 against our own parents, so forgive me for not thinking of my future when there were high chances that most of us wouldn't live to see it," I say angrily. The way everyone here lives makes my blood boil and I've only been here for 5 minutes, these Auradonians - yes I used that word again - have their lives so easy, they want something and they'll get it on a silver platter, whereas we had to beg for scraps, kill or be killed, keep your allies close but enemies closer, every man for himself and all that. I feel a hand on my shoulder, waking me from my annoyed trance, I get defensive, like anyone from the Isle would, and push the hand off, I see that the hand is attached to Jay's arm and calm down slightly, I see that everyone has their eyes on me, all shocked from my last comment, what have I got a toe for an eyebrow or something? What did they expect the Isle to be like? It is literally an island, surrounded by magic to keep in the villains because the 'heroes' couldn't control them, that also keeps in the villains children. They don't see us as family, they see us as fresh meat that they can use to practice they're evil ways on before they can come to Auradon and inflict the pain onto the people in Auradon rather than us. "If you're expecting an apology for that then you'll be waiting a long time, you're not getting one," I say blatantly. A few people look away, but a few eyes still don't move from me. I look to Mal, Evie and Carlos on my left to see they have all looked down as they think about what I said and how true every word was, about how we were always fighting for survival, whether it was because of our parents angry outbursts or punishments or just the toxic conditions of the Isle. I look to Jay and see he is just staring at me intensely, a worried look on his face. My eyes soften towards him and his face relaxes and he comes to my side, placing his hand in mine and giving me a reassuring look, I smile softly and he returns the smile, he knows how to calm me instantly, he's the only one who knows how to calm me at all, he helped me a lot on the Isle and I always returned his favours, he respects me more than anyone he knows, even Mal, and I respect him in the exact same way. He gives my hand a gentle squeeze and let's go, I close my eyes and take a deep breath for a few seconds before opening them again and looking back at the crowd. I see Fairy Godmother do a weird hand movement and the Auradonians all leave, leaving the core four and myself with the boy in the blue and yellow suit and the girl in the pink dress,
