A beat of silence.
"I can't sleep."
"Me neither love. What's eatin' ya?"
A sigh.
"It's too loud. My head, I mean. I don't want to sleep because I-I don't want let my guard down."
"Against what?"
"The void. It's louder now, louder than it was this morning."
"....."
"Anti?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm scared."
"Me too love."
He shuffles, curling protectively around you and pushing your face into his neck. As if he can keep you from any harm simply by holding you.
"I love you."
"I know Anti. I love you too."
