He had a tight grip on his cane sword as he paced back and forth, stopping occasionally to nibble at his bottom lip and then growling with irritation,

Where the hell is she?

Jacob tapped his foot and then snarled with anger, kicking a tin can down the alleyway. Watching it roll down and around the corner out of sight.

Five Rooks stood behind him: a girl with short, black hair shuffled her feet anxiously while staring down at the bricked sidewalk. So rarely had she ever seen Jacob get so riled up. She cleared her throat,

"Jacob, sir?"

Jacob turned to her with impatient but slightly softened hazel eyes,

"Yes, Eliza?"

"Maybe, you should look for her at night? Like, follow her?" Eliza's brown eyes looked around at the illustrations and posters on the alleyway walls, afraid to make eye contact.

Jacob smiled a little, "Thank you for trying to help, but Eliza dearest, I have to find out where she is first-"

A sixth Rook burst out from around the corner right behind Jacob, clearly in a hurry. Jacob reached behind him, grabbed the poor Rook and hurled him over his shoulder to the ground. Once Jacob saw who it was, he let go of him,

"Paul?!"

"Mista Frye! The Hideout's bein' infiltrated by a woman in a purple hood! Ya sister and Mista Green need help-"

Jacob was already off and running towards the tracks. Once there, he shot the rope launcher up and jumped up on to the tracks. The hideout was passing him so he threw himself onto it and kicked in a window, jumping in feet first. He landed crouched and looked up to see Evie with the attacker pushed up against the wall and Henry knocked out on the floor. Evie was about to sink a blade into the perpetrator's throat when Jacob screamed,

"Wait!! Evie, stop!! That's the girl we've been looking for!!!"

Evie froze, staring into the girl's (E/C) eyes. You chuckled,

"You've been lookin' for me? Funny that we haven't run into each other yet, 'cause I've been lookin' for you, too, Frye twins."
