I SINK IN MY SEAT AS I WATCH my now ex-boyfriend storm out of pop's, my heart felt like it was going to explode, he's gone, just like that. I really just lost the person I loved the most, the person who made me feel happiest is gone. Events keep flashing back in my mind as if a tv was on repeat.

"We need to talk, Betty." He sighs, I get quite startled and scared about what he was going to talk about. I stare at him blankly before mumbling a "about what?"

"I don't know how to word this," he says, rubbing his temples, "I'm leaving you."

My heart stops for a second, "what?"

"I'm sorry, it's not you, it's me," he looks down.

I feel tears forming in my eyes, "but why?"

"I- I'm sorry, but can we still be friends?" He ignores my question.

I clear my throat, "why?" He furrows his eyebrows, "that's not important," he says.

"Why," I say raising my voice. "Because, Betty, I don't love you like I did anymore," he shouts.

I stare at him wide eyed, he notices everyone staring at him, he shoots me a glare before storming off.

Now, here I was, sitting in a booth at pops, alone. I know everyone had just seen what happened, I bury my hands into my face.

There was only one place I could go to wash all these feelings away, the whyte worm, a place in which my parents would kill me if I even talked about.

I get out of my car when I arrive. The place sends shivers through by body. I can tell people were looking at me, probably wondering why a 'Northside princess' was at a bar. Not any bar, but a bar in the southside.

I breathe in before walking in, my eyes dart around the room, there was multiple people staring at me, some whistled while others threw insults to me about being a northsider.

A boy walks up to me, he was a lot taller than me, I had to look up a little to actually see his face, he had black hair and dark brown eyes. "What are you doing her, blondie?" He says, playing with my hair.

I roll my eyes, "why do you care, this is a bar, it's a free place."

"Looks like little blondie is standing up for herself," he taunts me, everyone around him laughs. Why are they laughing? It wasn't even funny.

"Leave me alone," I grumble.

The man in front of me smirks, "why don't you make me."

"Cut it off, Sweet Pea." A boy says behind me, I turn around to see a boy who looks like my age. He had eyes that seemed as if they were a mix of green and blue, his jet black hair was pushed back, and he held an angry expression on his face. He was fairly good looking.

The man in front of me, supposedly named 'sweet pea' glares at me before walking away.

"Thanks," I breathe.

"Wasn't doing it for you," he mumbles.

I blink, "oh- okay, thanks anyways."

He rolls his eyes before walking outside the bar, supposedly to his home, I heavily sigh before walking towards the bar.

There was a girl working there, she had long brown hair with pink ends, she must've noticed my gloomy expression, "long day, huh?" I nod, she passes me two red cups.
