after you convince me with lies
and tell me i'm beautiful
i was so naive
and so driven to prove myself different
i let you tear me apart
and break my heart
and leave me after i gave you everything
but you never cared,
you never loved me
all you wanted was my innocence
and now i'm left haunted
i let you pick off my petals like a daisy
and now you'll try and convince me i'm crazy
you'll say i'm toxic and another name on your list
but i am too weak to play this game
and you are too strong to lose
but one day i'll come back
and grow into something more destructive than you
