after a long day of hard work
she falls into bed
but only for a minute
then gets up for another shift
she grew up in a household
where failure what not an option
to prove herself best
she would compete
for whoever completed the test
and received a hundred
instead of a ninety something
she struggled to make friends
anti social was the word
people would describe her as
an odd girl with no friends and a book
she could read for hours
not on free will
just because she needed to study harder
she was as sweet as an orange
and as bright as the sun
but the stress got to her
and her bright eyes had begun to dim
