Not Just a Machine (D:BH Connor X Human! F!Reader)

As I said in the last chapter, I wanted to give you all a proper thank you. After I finished playing D:BH for the first time, I knew I had to write something for our favorite android detective, but the fact that you guys actually read this book still blows my mind.

I don't consider myself a talented writer, I honestly do it all for fun, so when I see people interacting with the book via comments, voting, or simply when I check to see how many reads a chapter has, it just simply fills my heart with happiness. Sometimes I get comments or messages telling me how much they love a book I wrote and it honestly makes my entire day. So, thank you. Thank you for reading, for voting, for commenting, for making me laugh, for everything. I truly do appreciate all of you.

I know this might seem weird to say in a thank you, but always remember how much you guys mean to people. It's currently five in the morning where I am and I've been up making sure my friend is okay because some shit happened, and right now I really feel like this needs to be said not just to her by to everyone.

People aren't told enough how much they mean to someone or to life itself. Emotions can cloud judgement and it can lead to unwanted feelings and thoughts. What I want you all to remember is that you do matter. Even when it feels like you don't, you do. So, please if you ever get to a time in life where you're struggling and there seems to be no way out. Talk to someone or write down how you feel. Never be afraid to get help. You should never have to fight your demons alone.

Now, to resume with the rest of this weird thank you note. So, If you read my A/N at the end of the last chapter I did mention new books because writing is fun to me and even if no one reads it I still like doing it :D

So, I've been playing some games recently (a few that are a couple years old whoops!) and I really am (high key) crushing on some of the characters. So, for example Delsin Rowe from Infamous: Second Son and Nomad from Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

(plus I'm still really mentally enjoying the idea of writing an Elijah Kamski short story because he's a really interesting character (creepy but mysterious), but I really love Neil Newbon and Kamski has abs and I really dig the idea of him being a college professor so someone should kill me before I actually end up writing this shit)

Anyway, I'm probably going to end up writing a whole bunch of shit for many video games, popular or not, and no one is going to stop me >:D.
