Chapter 2: Rebecca

"Well, there's only one way to find out what's going on..."

Rachel's POV
"What "way" are you talking about, Natalie?" I asked,
Natalie:"one, of us will go to mercenare hideout, disguised as a mercenare, and spy on them!"
Maya:"well, why just one of us? Why can't we all go?"
Natalie:"cause then, it would be way too obvious."
Maya:"oh."
Natalie:"...sooo, who's going?"
All but me:"ummm..."
Me:"I'll do it."
Everyone:"you WILL?!?!"
Me:"sure."
Natalie:"o-ok then, hold still."
Natalie took the crown of wisdom, and turned back into Glitter Ace, then she put it on her head,
Glitter Ace:"take my hand."
I took her hand as she instructed, and a bright aura surrounded me, when the aura disappeared, everyone was looking at me,
Me:"w-what? Do I have something on my face?"
Maya:"YOU'RE GORGEOUS!!!!!"
Me:"HUH?!"
Mackenzie:"uhhh, Rachel, you might wanna look in a mirror."
Mackenzie handed me a makeup mirror, I looked at myself and gasped,

Natalie:"now, you'll be known as Rebecca."
Me:"ok but, is this whole transformation thing permanent?"
Natalie:"only until I remove the spell."
Me:"ok, good. Also, if I'm a mercenare now, would that mean that I have mercenare powers too?"
Natalie:"yes, the only power that you'll have trouble with is flying, the rest should be fairly easy to master."
Me:"ok."
Maya:"hey, be careful, ok?"
Mackenzie:"yeah, if you get caught, we'll be one warrior short."
Clara:"yes, and with the type of battle we're facing, that is one warrior too many."
Me:"I understand, I won't get caught, I promise."
All:"you better not!"
They all hugged me and I teleported away, next thing I knew, I was in Splendorious! Though I didn't see any distain's, I kept up my guard. I felt like I was being watched, I stopped and looked around, I didn't see anything, or anyone, until I finally spotted two golden eyes, looking at me, the figure that was watching me came out from the shadows, it was,
Me:"Ira"
I said out loud,
Ira:"huh? How do you know my name?"
Me:"AH!! N-No reason! IjustheardofyouandhowyoufighttheGlitterForc-eandIjustwantedtomeetyouinperson!!"
Ira:"woah, woah! Slow down, you're gonna give me a headache."
Me:"oh, s-sorry."
Ira:"it's fine, so who're you? I don't think I've seen you around here before, are you new or something?"
Me:"uh, yeah! That's right I'm n-new!"
Ira:"okaaaay, what's your name?"
Me:"oh, my name's Rebecca!"
Ira:"oh, well, nice to meet you I guess, as you apparently already know, my name's Ira."
Me:"h-hi."
Ira and I shook hands, and I felt a bit less nervous,
Ira:"uh, I'm not doing anything so, do you maybe want me to show you around?"
Me:"oh, s-sure."
Ira:"cool, follow me."
Ira began to fly away, until he noticed that I wasn't following him, he floated back down to me,
Ira:"hey, aren't you coming?"
Me:"I want to, it's just..."
Ira:"just what?"
Me:"..."
Ira:"come on, spill."
Me:"I-I can't f-fly."
Ira looked at me for a moment, I closed my eyes, waiting for him to laugh at me, but to my surprise, he didn't say anything I opened my eyes to see him facepalm and then sigh, he lifted his head up to look at me, and said,
Ira:"you really don't know how to fly?"
I nodded,
Ira:"*sigh* take my hand."
I nodded and followed his instruction,
Ira:"hold on, tightly."
Me:"o-ok."
We started running until we got to a cliff above water, I realized what he was doing,
Me:"w-wait! shouldn't we think about th-"
We jumped off of the cliff,
Me:"AHHHH!!"
I screamed, and closed my eyes,
Ira:"calm down or I'll drop you!"
Me:"hey!"
Ira:"that wasn't a threat!"
Me:"r-really?"
Ira:"well yeah! I wouldn't drop you on PURPOSE!"
Me:"oh, uhh, sorry."
Ira:"*sigh* whatever."

3rd person POV
Ira showed Rachel, now known as Rebecca, around Splendorious and then all around the hideout, he introduced her to the other mercenare's and showed "Rebecca" her room,
Ira:"well, there you go."
Rachel/Rebecca:"thank you."
Ira:"yeah, yeah whatever, just go to bed, it's late."
Rachel/Rebecca:"ok, goodnight."
Ira:"..."
"Rebecca" closed the door to her new room, and Ira went to his own room, he took off his jacket, and got into his pjs, he got under the covers of his bed, and lied down, facing the ceiling, he said to himself,
Ira:"goodnight,
