Chapter 12: Years Later

3rd person POV
It's been 15 years since Ira and Marmo moved to earth. Ira and the Glitter Force all now have lives of their own, Clara has taken over her fathers company for him, Natalie is in college and training to open a place for tea ceremony's, Maya has inherited the Pigtail for her parents and married, and Mackenzie is still the biggest pop-star out there. As for Rachel and Ira, they're married with kids and Rachel has become a professional doctor, Ira is a salesman (he surprisingly makes a lot of money) and is a lot calmer now than he was. Dina is now in school and at the top of her class, but that doesn't stop her from being an absolute sweetheart. Life is peaceful at last, Bel hasn't been seen for years and Regina is Maya's co-chef, Regina bakes the sweets, Maya makes the main courses. Marmo is Ira's boss, she's the only person above him in business.

*at Ira and Rachel's house*

Ira's POV
I don't have work today, so I'm staying home with the kids while Rachel worked with her patients, I was on the couch, reading a book when my son and daughter came into the room, my sons name is Leo and my daughters name is Kiara, Kiara has dark blue eyes, long, icy blue hair, and bat wings behind her ears, she was wearing a dark purple dress and wore red leggings with dark purple shoes, and had her hair in a french braid with a light red bow holding the braids together. Leo has dark blue hair and yellow eyes, unlike his sister, Leo doesn't have bat wings behind his ears, he wears a white T-shirt and light blue pants with white shoes. They are both quite smart and care about doing their homework, but they also like to have lots of fun and can get into mischief pretty easily, they are both 6 years old, and I love them, so does Rachel, I smile as they come running in,
Kiara:"daddy! Leo took Mr. Snuggles!"
Leo:"did not!"
Kiara:"did too!"
Leo:"did not!"
Kiara:"did too!"
Leo:"did not did not did not!"
Kiara:"lier!"
Me:"c'mon you two, stop fighting. Kiara, Leo didn't take Mr. Snuggles, mommy washed him for you and put him on the table in the kitchen, don't accuse anyone of doing anything until you have proof. Leo, you shouldn't yell at your sister like that, it's rude and it can hurt peoples feelings."
Both:"ok, thanks daddy!"
Kiara:"I'm sorry, Leo!"
Leo:"I'm sorry too!"
They hugged each other and Kiara found her stuffed panda, Mr. Snuggles, where I said he was, Leo looked at the open book I had in my hands, and sat beside me,
Leo:"whatcha reading dad?"
Me:"oh, it's called Wonder, it's about a boy that's different from other people, everyone thinks he's weird and he gets bullied, but he meets a few friends and he pulls through."
Leo:"oh, that sounds interesting! Can I read it with you?"
Me:"yes, but first, let's see if Kiara wants to read with us too."
Leo:"ok!"
Kiara comes into the room and notices the book,
Kiara:"hey, what's that?"
Me:"it's a book called Wonder, me and your brother were just wondering if you wanted to read it with us."
Kiara:"oh, sure!"
Kiara happily sat on the other side of me, and then Rachel came into the house,
Rachel:"hey guys, I'm back! Hey, what're you all doing?"
Me:"we were just about to read Wonder, wanna join?
Rachel:"of course!"
Kiara moved over so that Rachel could sit beside me and she sat on Rachel's lap, Leo sat on my lap and we read the book, once we finished the book, the kids had fallen asleep, it was late and they had school tomorrow, I looked at Rachel and she looked at me,
Me:"we should probably put them to bed."
Rachel:"yeah."
I and Rachel carried Leo and Kiara to their beds, bridal style, and Rachel went to bed herself,
Rachel:"I'm gonna go to bed, you coming?"
Me:"I'll be there in a minute, I just need to look for something in the attic."
Rachel:"alright, good night."
Rachel yawned, I went up into the attic to look for a necklace that I had given Rachel when we were 16, it's been lost since the move and Rachel was really upset when she lost it in the attic, if I can find it, I can surprise her with it for her birthday, I rummaged through a bunch of boxes when I found a picture of me and Bel when I was a little kid, I held the picture up and sort of started to miss him,

(That is the picture that grown up Ira is holding, I drew the picture myself, and honestly, I think it looks pretty good! Anyway, on with the chapter!)

But, I couldn't be near him anymore, not after what he did, it was hard for me to let go because, one part of me never wants to see or hear from him anymore, while the other half just wants to be the little kid that loved him again,
'Ugh, why does it have to be so hard? I should be over it already.'
I look over, and I see Rachel's lost necklace, I picked it up, and put the picture back where I found it, I went downstairs, and I saw my kids, sleeping peacefully in bed, I smiled and went to my own room where Rachel was already sleeping, I realized that I didn't need Bel anymore, I have a wife and kids of my own now, and I'm happy. I put the necklace in a safe place, where Rachel wouldn't see it, got into my pjs, and went to bed.
