Ira's POV
I and Rachel were on earth, talking about what had happened this morning,
Me:"I can't believe they're dead."
Rachel:"yeah, it's a little hard to imagine."
Me:"I wonder who could've done it, I mean...sure, they did some awful stuff...but that's no reason to kill them!"
Rachel:"...yeah..."
Me:"huh?"
Rachel had a guilty look on her face,
Me:"Rachel? Are you ok?"
Rachel:"oh, yeah..."
Me:"..."
Me:"c'mon Rachel, if you have something to say, then say it."
Rachel:"I can't, you'll get mad."
Me:"why?"
Rachel:"well...you wouldn't really be mad...I guess that you would be heartbroken for the most part..."
Then I realized what she was saying,
Me:"wait, you think BEL did it?!?!"
Rachel:"w-well...sort of...yeah."
Me:"I can't believe you! You're saying that the only person that ever cared, is the person that murdered Gura and Riba?!"
Rachel:"Ira, I know how much Bel means to you, but if I'm right then you might be in even more danger than you think!"
Me:"but how can you be so sure?!"
Rachel:"because he was grinning when you weren't looking!"
Me:"..."
I didn't know what to say, I floated down to her,
Me:"a-are you sure?"
Rachel nodded,
Rachel:"positive"
Me:"..."
Rachel:"...Ira I-"
Me:"I gotta go."
Rachel:"..."
I teleported away, and I went to Bel's room, he wasn't home, neither was Marmo, I checked his whole room, there was nothing but a stash of green lollipops,
'Wait...those aren't normal lollipops...'
Then it finally hit me,
Me:"*gasp!* they're energy takers!"
I finally realized what had happened, Bel must've used one of the energy takers on Riba and Gura last night. energy takers, take dark energy away from up to 2 mercenare's, and all of that energy, gets sucked into the lollipop itself, but I thought that it was just a legend!
Then, Bel came into the room, he gasped when he saw me,
Me:"you killed them...didn't you?"
Bel:"Ira, I swear, it's not what you think-"
Me:"I TRUSTED YOU!!!"
Bel:"..."
Me:"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!"
I ran out of the room,
Bel:"Ira wait! I can-"
I went to my room, slammed the door, and locked it, I sat on my bed, and I cried.
Bel's POV
"Ira wait! I can-"
Ira slammed his bedroom door, and locked it,
Me:"explain..."
I finished my sentence, later that night, I unlocked the door to his room, and found him asleep in bed, Marmo had followed me into his room, but she was wary about me being near Ira or herself, she found out soon after Ira did,
Marmo:"what're you gonna do to him?"
Me:"*sigh* trust me Marmo, if I wanted to kill him, I would've done it a long time ago."
Marmo:"but what about his parents? Why did you feel like you had to kill them?"
Me:"...it's a long story..."
Marmo:"well, is killing Gura and Riba last night a long story? Cause I'd like to know why you would do that."
Me:"I'm just gathering energy for myself, that's all."
Marmo just stared at me for a few seconds before she spoke again,
Marmo:"...you-you're taking enough dark energy from other teams, to make yourself strong enough to overthrow the king, aren't you?"
Me:"huh, very clever, Marmo."
Marmo:"but why do you want the thrown so badly? I don't understand why yo-"
Me:"to protect Ira."
Marmo:"huh?"
Me:"listen, I can't explain right now, but I promise that I will in time, alright?"
Marmo:"is Ira in some kind of danger?"
Me:"yeah, but that's all I can say right now, please Marmo, just let me do what I have to."
Marmo:"..."
She stayed quiet for a moment before nodding, we left Ira's room soon after.
Ira's POV
I was in a house, and I saw three people, a mother, a father, and a baby. they didn't seem to be able to see me, the people, they were mercenare's like me! Then there was a knock at the door, the mother stayed in a room with the baby, and seconds after the door opened, there was a gunshot, the mother put the baby in his cradle, and hid it with a bunch of blankets and junk, she was shot a few moments after, the killer came into the room with the cradle and the baby, he had a mask on, but I could tell that it was a young man, the baby was crying and the murderer looked around for him, finally, the man had dug through the blankets and objects, and found the child. The man took off his mask, it was...it was Bel! He looked a lot younger, but it was definitely Bel, the baby was still crying, and Bel picked him up,
Past Bel:"shhhhh, Ira, it's ok, you're safe now."
He whispered to the baby, The baby...was me...I stopped crying, and Bel took me, after they left, the house, disappeared and my surroundings were now pitch black, I heard whispers coming from all over the place but no-one was there,
Me:"no!"
I sat up in my room, at midnight, I had tears coming down my face,
'It was a nightmare...'
I thought,
'Or was it...a vision of the past?'
It was definitely a vision, my heart sank,
Me:"s-stupid Bel, I wish I could kill him."
Me:"...wait, no, then I would be no better a person then he is."
I spoke to myself, but then I heard the whispers from my vision again, they were louder this time, I tried to cover my ears but I could still hear them, after awhile, the words became clear,
???:"no, you're right, kill him. He betrayed your trust, and lied to you your whole life, and your parents, killing him would win them justice."
I felt my eyes go blood red as my heart was ripped from my chest,
Me:"ahhh!"
but I was still conscious, and I wasn't a distain, and there was no mark on my chest, but I saw my heart in front of me, it was pitch black, with gold outlining, and it had bat wings on the sides, my tears were gone, I wasn't sad anymore, I was angry. Then, the voice spoke again,
???:"bring your heart with you, from now on, I am your master."
Me:"...yes, master."
